1/144 & 1/350 Leonov

This is my Leonov russian spaceship from the movie "2010: The Year We Make Contact".

It comes in two sizes, 1/144 scale, and 1/350 scale, to match the Moebius Discovery kit.
The 1/144 scale measures about 583mm long, use about 1.6kg of resin, and take about 40hrs total to print on a MonoX/Saturn sized printer.
The 1/350 is 240mm, uses about 120gm of resin, and can be printed in several hours.
Both are intended to make a metal rod/tube down the middle for strength. The two sets of files are not simply resized, the 1/144 version is broken down into more parts for better detail, and the 1/350 version has the smallest/thinnest parts thickened to make sure they can be printed.

This model is designed for resin printing, not FDM. As drawn the details will be too fine for FDM printing on most parts.

The 1/144 version can have its engines lit, and has channels for wiring, and holes for LEDs. Details for sizes are in the instructions.

A stand for each is included.

I have fully printed the model myself in both sizes to ensure parts fit, its structurally sound, and just generally “works”.
