Mallorca / Majorca 3D Relief

This is a 3D relief model of the island Mallorca, the largest of Spain's Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea.

The model includes:

• Four different topographies, two with the text "Mallorca", one with the ext "Majorca" and one without any text.

• A wall frame with holes on the back for easy hanging on a wall.

• Merged STL files that combine the topography and frame into single printable files.

The last photo shows an example of another island I have printed and painted "artistically". The frame and relief were printed separately to make painting easier, and after painting then glued together.

Some less known facts about Mallorca:

• Much of Mallorca’s turquoise-blue water is thanks to vast underwater seagrass meadows of Posidonia oceanica, which keep the sea clear and full of life.
• The island was once home to the Talayotic culture, known for its prehistoric stone towers called talayots that still stand in parts of the island.
• There are over 200 known cave systems under Mallorca, many of them hidden and unexplored by the public.
• Bellver Castle in Palma is one of the only circular castles in Europe, built in the 14th century.
• The Serra de Tramuntana mountain range on Mallorca’s northwest coast is a UNESCO World Heritage site for its mix of natural beauty and traditional culture.
• According to legend and some local lore, Sa Dragonera (a small island near Mallorca) served as a hideout for pirates and smugglers. It was said that pirates used freshwater sources in caves like Cueva del Moro to supply their ships.
