A new 30 cm column for the collection!

Resulting from the 7 architectural orders of ancient EGYPT, this one is inspired by the ligatured palmiform columns that supported mortuary temples, notably in the site of Saqqara.

Originally carved from pink granite, apart from the capital symbolizing palms, the shaft is quite simple and rests on a more imposing base.

3D printing settings

Printed in 0.2 mm thickness, without any particular difficulty.

The set consists of five parts:

  • the base, 50 mm

  • the drum, 30 mm (five in number to reach a total height of 300 mm)

  • the sub-drum, 20 mm

  • the capital, 70 mm

-an architrave, 10 mm.

The capital is printed in reverse to avoid supports.
