ARTILLERY SIDEWINDER 4020 FAN DUCT V3 46° BMG MOSQUITO & E3D-DRAGON-V6 HYBRID

Update7/13: we just revised the BMG-M version of duct so it will no longer collide with x-motor when homing

We have done comprehensive CFD to ensure this is the best duct possible for the stock 4020 fan. This will work with genuine Mosquito. It may also work with the clone versions, but it has not been tested.

If you have either a Mosquito or a Dragon hotend, this is the fan duct you want, it has been optimized to use nearly 90% of the 4020 fan CFM's versus the stock fan utilizing only 68%

Please also note, there are two duct included with this:
1.) DragonMosquitoHybrid
2.) BMG-M MosquitoDragonHybridDuct

#1 is if you have a normal BMG & a Mosquito, you will need to print this adapter out of a heat resistant material (ABS/PETG/Nylon/etc)

#2 is if you have a BMG-M & Mosquito. It is shorter so it will fit properly

You will need to print:
1x Duct part
1x BLtouch Mount (note: there are two lengths, print both and try)
1x BLtouch Adapter bracket
1x Fan Clip
6x M3 nuts
3x M3x25mm cap head bolts
5x M3x8mm cap head bolts

Note 1: You will need a Slice Engineering style 25mm fan

Note2. This is for a Bondtech BMG style extruder, not tested with Titan

For assembly, see exploded assembly ISO View Picture and follow these instructions:
NOTE: some user may need to make or purchase fan wire extension, does not affect all users*
1.) Embed the 4x M3 nuts into the back side of Inclined Fan Adapter
2.) Install the inclined adapter piece where your existing fan is, Insert 2x M3x8mm bolts to secure (for BMG-M duct you need Cap bolts, socket heads will not work)
3.) Insert 2x M3 nuts into fan duct, then insert into fan
4.) Slide Duct into place, ensure clips on front side mate with Inclined Adapter.
5.) Slide Clip over the fan and duct
6.) Use 3x M3x25mm bolts to secure clip and fan to the inclined adapter
7.) Install 2x M3x8 bolts through slots in clip into the nuts installed in Step 3
8.) If installing BLtouch, bolt BLtouch to your bracket, and bolt bracket to Inclined Adapter using M3x8mm bolt

9.) When routing stock 4020 2pin cable, see picture, route through cutouts and it should reach without needing extension.

Make sure to update your firmware to use the following BLtouch offsets:
X=+39 Y=-41

Note: you will get all files, .stl's, etc when you purchase this, if you find something missing, please let us know. We are new to this

0.4mm Nozzle recommended but 0.6mm nozzle will also work for most parts
-0.15 to 0.2mm layers

-No Support should be needed
-Look at picture for how you should print each part in your slicer
