Due to popular request, I am introducing the new storage compartment with integrated cup holders for rear passengers.
Enhance the style and functionality of your BMW E39 with this OEM+ looking upgrade.

Two cup holders in the front are based on my proven design for the front storage console:

Behind the cup holders, there’s a fairly large compartment, perfect for keeping small items neatly stored. When not in use, both the storage and cup holders can be hidden behind an OEM-style sliding curtain.

3D printing settings

Print in ASA/ABS if you live in hot enviroment (in colder climates, PETG should work as well). 0.16mm layer height or less for the best looking print. For most of the components, 2 walls and 10% infill are enough. Curtain should be printed with 100% infill. Overall you need around 500-700g of fillament for the whole project, depending on your settings.

You will need 7pcs of m3 screws (m3x10, m3x12, m3x15 all work). 4pcs for the cup holders and 3pcs to put everything together. You will also need 2 common household rubber bands to give the cup holders some pre-tension (more info here https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/bmw-e39-spring-loaded-cup-holder)

Now possible to print with 220x220 printer!

No supports needed for any of the parts!
