3d printed spaceship mouse trap

i wanted to 3d print a mouse trap but all the ones online required way too much 3d printing material and a lot of printing time..

i designed these traps so they use the least amount of material and 3d print in the fastest amount of time.

pretty much these require some string, some rubber bands and some bait. these are my second prototype and as you can see these can lock with each other so you can put two or eight side by side.

i went ahead and printed a couple and tested them on my shed which seem to have a couple of mice in it.. i havent been able to catch any larger rats so i have no idea if it works with them

i tested these using some security cameras and i was able to catch them while they got caught. i didnt use enough rubber bands at the beginning and one of the mouse didnt die quickly so i added more pressure to the rubber bands and that dd the trick

mousetrap4.stl oh sorry i forgot to mention it... it's like a trap holder to help set the trap.. you put part of it inside the top part of the tunnel and you put the part with the hole by the part that you run the tread to secure the trap.. once you tie the knot you take the plastic piece off and your trap is set
