This is a faithfull replica of the cap with special care of the details and adjusted to be wearable by children or adults. All the accessories from the video come with your purchase which means that you are getting the original cap, the wings from SM64 and the racoon ears from SM3.

The accessories snap in and out easily and once put they do not come off unless you manually remove them. It is a resistant design with good measurements in order to make it wearable and you are getting one base cap for adults size ( tested in 10 different people in between 1.6 and 1.9m height) and one base cap in children size ( tested in 5 different children from 6 to 13 years old).

The winged cap is inspired in the game that first blew my mind when I was a child which was SM64. I wanted to bring back the memories of flying around the castle just for fun, admiring how beautiful the game design was.

The racoon cap is inspired in one of the games I spent the most hours in and that was my first real challenge in terms of games which was SM3. trying to fully pass this game without taking advantage of the bugs was a real deal for me and a really good memory I also wanted to have physically.

The one on the gif was printed in an original stock Ender 3.

IMPORTANT

Please, print everything in the positions shown on the images. Rotate the pieces in those angles since that is going to grant the resistant needed for the snap in mechanisms.

*If cura auto scalates the baseCap down ( it might do this since unless we rotate it it does not fit in the ender 3 bed), just go to the scale option and add a 0 to the 3 axis ( if you have the option uniform scaling enabled you only need to add it to one and cura will adjust the other two automatically).

--Printing parameters--.

for the base cap:

First, make sure to rotate the model in the angle shown on the cura screenshots.

-Layer heigth: 1.6mm ( the less the better but with this works fine)

-Infill density: 100%

-bed adhesion: Raft, extra 5 mm.

-Support: disable general support and add a support block on the bottom of the piece ( as in the picture ) with the next suggested parameters for better removal:

-support pattern: lines

-support density: 15%

-support x/y distance: 0.26

-support z distance:0.26

-disable the "connect support lines" option.

for the Wings:

First, make sure to rotate the model in the angle shown on the cura screenshots.

-layer height: 0.12mm (the less the better but with this works fine).

-infill density: 100%.

-support: enable general support. Support for the touching build plate only with the next suggested parameters:

-support structure: normal.

-support overhang angle: 75 degree.

-support pattern: lines

-disable connect support lines.

-support density: about 20% for the main body and I suggest about 50% for the snapping fins. Just make sure that your slicer provides proper support for these fins.

-plate adhesion: suggested raft, 5 mm extra margin.

for the middle part of the Racoon Ear (snapping part): **

First, make sure to align the flattest face of the model to the build plate, the face is not completely even so you need to move it slightly down until it is, do not worry if you loose 0.4mm of the design.

-layer height: 0.12mm (the less the better but with this works fine).

-infill density: 100%.

-support: enable general support. Support type: Tree.

-support placement: everywhere

-support overhang angle: 75 degree.

-support density: 15%.

for the back part of the Racoon Ear: **

First, make sure to align the part as it is shown on the slicer screenshots.

-layer height: 0.12mm (the less the better but with this works fine).

-infill density: 100%.

-support type: normal, everywhere.

-support pattern: lines

-support density: 15%.

-support x/y distance: 0.26

-support z distance:0.26

-disable the "connect support lines" option.

-bed adhesion: suggested Raft, extra 5 mm of margin.

for the earButton part:

First, make sure to align the part as it is shown on the slicer screenshots.

-layer height: 0.08mm (the less the better but with this works fine).

-infill density: 100%.

-support type: normal, everywhere.

-support pattern: lines

-support density: 50%

-support x/y distance: 0.26

-support z distance:0.26

-Enable the "connect support lines" option.

-bed adhesion: suggested Raft, extra 5 mm of margin.
