An autonomous rotor launch system with direct drive low RPM multirotor motor. Very easy simple and strong.
I share the adaptation stl parts but it may be difficult to find the same motor as mine. If you have a different motor give me your dimensions mabe I cans draw something ;). My motor : dualsky XM4005TE-11 840 rpm/v

new thicker engine mount that eliminates vibrations from the twin blades. The smotters are also further away from the fuselage to put 5 inch propellers more easily.

-I added a screw to hold the fin, which avoids breaking the beam. For now I position the daggerboard upside down to prevent the blades from breaking too often, while waiting to redraw the logo on the right side.
-I made a new "bio deisgn" blade, with a double camber profile. Difficult to feel a difference in flight.
-On the new hub rotor adapted to the last fine rotor head: stroke limitation to prevent the blades from breaking the drift
-And now I share solidworks 2019 original files.
I count on you to make it evolve by showing me that.

The Gyroprint 2020 is the second gyroplane I realize, and the first two-bladed autogyro.
I did a lot of testing to come up with a model that flies very well, provided you use a flight stabilizer (eagle tree for me). In fact the autogyro can fly without an electronic system but the visualization in flight is quite difficult. With the stabilizer you are sure that by lacing the sleeves it will be flat.
The interest of this model comes on the one hand from its originality and from its capacities of flight at low speed and at a higher speed, while being very little sensitive to the wind for a model of this size.
The only delicate phase in flight is takeoff: given the small size of the machine, I have not integrated a pre-launch motor for the main rotor. It is therefore necessary to run a little against the wind before releasing the model while the rotor takes its turns. So it's much easier with wind. Impossible therefore to take off from the ground, the landings on the other hand do not pose a problem as well in the hand as on the hard runway.
The autonomy is 8 to 9 min with a 3S 750mah battery.
The other advantage of the autogyro is the speed of printing compared to a classic fixed wing aircraft.

I designed the gyroprint to make it easily repairable in the event of an inevitable break: the daggerboards, the rear beam and the train are simply fitted. No need to reprint everything in the event of a crash!

It is entirely in standard PLA, except the tires in pla flex, but the standard pla would also be suitable.

M3 hardware.

The radio is programmed as for a classic model, the delta mixing is managed by the eagle tree module.
Little deflection and a lot of expo on roll and pitch.
The centering is located vertical to the axis of the rotor.
The rotor axis is about 10 degrees nose up.
For the first flight it takes a day with wind and testing the model's reactions without letting go. But with the stabilization module, accelerometer activated, àa is going well. It is especially necessary to take care to have a good speed to the rotor before releasing the model !!!
