3D model description

This is my first design of a slope soarer that I named the Flux, 1200mm span, 4 Channel. I have been flying mine for about a year and had many rough landings and it is tough as hell. I have spent a lot of time on the design to make it a tough model.

Instead of printing in a lightweight material I opt to print in eSun Super Tough or PetG and design the model to take the weight. DO NOT PRINT IN LIGHTWEIGHT!

The model is the 4th iteration and by far the best, I have flown in 5mph wind and also 30mph winds and it handles very well.

3D printing settings

Note: the assumption is that you have a well tuned and accurate printer. Min build volume 200 x 200 x 200

Print Using CURA ONLY

Print in e-Sun Super Tough (ST) or PETG - Don't use lightweight and no dark colours.

Wall line Count: 1

Infill Percentage: 4 %- 6%
Infill Pattern: Cubic Subdivision
*if the spars are too tight - Horizontal Hole Expansion 0.2mm
