(Centauri) Ancient Bioship

Sent out into the void to find other civilizations to assimilate, ships like these are extremely rare finds and are prized for their myriad of hyper advanced technologies, which if reversed engineered, could help advance any organic species by hundreds or even thousands of years. The Allied Orion Navy however worked hard to eradicate all potential Centauri threats from the galaxy before pushing the nigh unstoppable remnants towards the core. Due to the surviveability of these self-repairing bioships, a handful escaped to dark space sectors and as luck would have it, one was found my the coreward expanding human empire.

With full capabilities unknown, the study of the only known specimen has been slow as the bioship's defenses extend beyond the conventional; those that would even attempt to damage the hull are sensed by the construction itself, unintelligibly whispering into their minds with disturbing thoughts and visions of horror and destruction.
