Kid Size Retractable Light Saber in two sizes

The younglings said they wanted a small light saber. I tried scaling down some that I found on-line but the younglings required so many mods that I decided to design our own. ... And these are the result. There is only one hilt but you can use either the short blade (3 segments) or the longer blade (4 segments) and either the short end cap or the long end cap.

The younglings have pointed out that the short blade is better for actual play / combat because the tip is stronger and doesn't break as easily. The short capped version is great for hiding in a pocket during incognito / spy mode ... but you can get a better grip on the long capped version and it looks more "real"....

Apologies for the sub-par print quality of my hilts.... I couldn't get the IDEX printing tuned properly for the shiny filament that I was using.

** Have added individual files for the sections of each blade for easy printing of damaged parts.

For the hilt, there is one file for the single body version which prints the whole hilt as one object. There are also two files for IDEX, two color printing.

The hilt can be printed with the screw thread side up / blade side hole down without supports. The caps should be printed with the thread side up also.

I have combined all the segments of each blade into one STL file. Each section can be printed independently though so let me know if you want single files. I thought it would be a bit messy and confusing if I uploaded all the single sections here.
