The CORE CUBE is a stackable storage system which follows the Prusa Core One design pattern. It can stand alone but also be placed on top of the Prusa Core One, fits to its dimensions in width and depth and can be used as a filament storage and supply. Because it's a cube the high, width and depth are the same, 41,5 cm. A mounting frame enables feeding filament from the CORE CUBE into the Core One with the original top panel, without the need to drill a hole. Airflow goes under the CORE CUBE.
The construction of the CORE CUBE is very sturdy and offers many design options. Thanks to the smart design of the parts having always the printing process in mind, it offers very smooth and nice surfaces basically without any visible layers or artefacts. It requires only a plexiglas door (298 x 355 x 3 mm), all other parts can be printed. I went for printed walls because it's much more cost efficient than plexiglas, although it takes more printing time. Nevertheless the frame is also prepared to hold plexiglas panels (160 x 160 x 3 mm) instead of printed tiles. Or just design your own one. Example panels are also included. You can just use the blank one (which is available as STEP-File) and cut in shapes in the slicer, or use Shapr3D, Fusion or any other CAD Software.
I have decided to go for a more modular build which requires more parts and screws, but the focus was on easy and reliable printable parts to avoid risk/failures due to warping or other issues on large prints. I had so far only 1 failed part, due to layer shift and printed more than 100 parts during the development process. Another priority was very high surface quality and perfect look without outside visible screws.
The model offers a high degree of flexibility. The door can be mounted left or right sided, or just use a double door with the handles in the middle. You can also use the front frame parts to install doors on the backside. The inside provides many mounting holes for individual custom installations.
It comes with integrated air flow control for the Prusa Core One with handling from the front instead of the top panel slider. The top cover of the printer will not be used any more. It also includes special mounting stands for the Filamentalist V3 Rewinder System, so not buffer is need anymore. The CORE CUBE Professional is revolvable on top of the Prusa Core One, which allows to turn the back side to the front to access the MMU3 in the back without moving the printer. And it offers a shutter door for the backside.
The MMU3 can be taken easily out the dock without any tool. Just remove the PTFE tubes and cable and it's free to go and it also fits through the magnetic tile frame.

Finally I would give a big thank you to the creators of the Filamantalist Rewinder, this is a really great invention and adds very well to the CURE CUBE. Absolutely remarkable and well done !!!
