3D model description

Introducing the Foldable Print in Place Gunpla Runner Stand (a mouthful I know!). This is the Hex pattern version. Make sure to check out the plain pattern here: https://cults3d.com/:1851285

Decided to give myself a bit of a challenge in designing something that's both print in place and with some form of hinge. The model was inspired by the MGEX Strike Freedom paper runner stand and consists of a simple hinge design based on Nokiri's ribbon fidget toy. There's a catch on the bottom of it to prevent it from opening/folding back out from gravity.

When taking it off the build plate, grab each hinge and give it a slow bend to loosen each segment. Going hard off the bat may cause it to disconnect

3D printing settings

The model in the photos use the following parameters:
- Printed using a Bambulabs P1S using Aquajet and a PEI Sheet
- No Supports
- Infill 15%
- 2 Walls (4 for lightning infill)
- .2mm Layer Height
- Lightning supports used for rapid prototyping, and cubic for structure
- Modeled with FDM/PLA in mind, haven't been tested for resin
