3D model description

The model is based on "SELF-WATERING POT FOR GROWING AVOCADO PIT"
But instead of continuously fed the pot with water from the tank to maintain the needed water level, we will use a large amount of water and a floating pot to maintain the avocado pit barely submerged in water at the same level.

This way, there is no need to make holes in the avocado pit to suspend it over a barely submerged water tank. And we will compensate the evaporation rate of the water by its amount.

The hole model is composed of 3d printed support with a water floater.

Works well in PLA with layer height 0.2

3D printing settings

Material: PLA

Nozzle temperature: 200°.

Thermal bed temperature: 45°.

Nozzle diameter 0.4 mm.

Layer: 0.2 mm

Filling 20 %

Fill pattern: gyroid

Support: Yes, only in contact with surface

Raft or Brim: recommended
