Hi, I purchased your file currently printing the components looks perfect only question is how do i add multi color to the dice tray and iris components i have an ams do I need to modify the file? Im new to this sorry if this is a basic question. Thanks...

This is Brent Nicolet from “Master Minds” We are seeking a device similar to a Dice Pop Up.

We are designing a Board Game.

This is a brief description of what We are looking for.

A randomly popping mechanism creates an unpredictable pop-up action so that the exact timing, location, or result cannot be easily predicted.

Basic Components

Spring – stores energy.
Latch or catch – holds the spring in a compressed position.
Trigger mechanism – releases the latch.
Pop-up element – the object that jumps, flips, or rises.
How It Creates Randomness

The mechanism can use several methods:

Random Release Timing
A motor slowly turns gears or cams. At an unpredictable point, a catch slips and releases the spring, causing the object to pop up unexpectedly.

Random Location
Several spring-loaded pop-up compartments are connected to a selector mechanism. When activated, only one compartment releases, chosen by a rotating wheel, cam, or randomized electronic control.

Random Dice Popper
A spring-loaded platform strikes a die enclosed under a clear dome. The die tumbles randomly and lands on a different face each time.

Mechanical Example

Imagine six small doors arranged in a circle:

Each door hides a spring-loaded figure.
A rotating disk underneath has one opening.
When the button is pressed, the disk rotates to a random position.
Only the door aligned with the opening can release.
The figure behind that door pops up.
This type of mechanism is used in children’s games, novelty toys, surprise boxes, and carnival attractions.

Key Design Elements

Consistent spring force.
Low-friction moving parts.
Durable latch system.
Enough travel distance for a noticeable pop.
Safety features to prevent pinched fingers.
A good randomly popping mechanism gives users the feeling that “anything could pop up next,” making it useful for games, educational devices, and surprise-themed products.

I got it to work for her. She is happy now. Was just a little upset about it at the time. If you want to you can but am not going to pursue. She is also interested it the Geared Mechanical Box - Tilting Doors so we may be getting this later.

I just printed out the parts for the Mechanical Deck and dice box V4 but I can't find the assembly instructions among the files. Where can I find them?

Don't like that it says "There are no additional items needed, except from any type of lubricant (spraying grease), which i highly recommend to achieve a very smooth mechanism" But then in comments is say use glue. My 8 year old kid bought this with they're own money because no extra needed then needed extra.

Can you do a project like that in 15?

I just purchased your Dice Tower - looks cool. I'm wondering if I could have access to your model files as I would like to:
* Seperate the files a bit differently - The Bambu files have the different coloured section but I am wondering about a doing. it a bit differently
* Add a bit of styling - add a dragon to the top, make the tower look a bit decrepit
* Also wondering about making it a bit bigger so it can handle a few more dice in one go - expand the landing, open up the shaft a bit etc

do you have anthiung that will fit 34mm nut ?

Hi - quite keen on the DnD Dice Book design you created. When I printed using on a P1S using AMS. though, the trays are not tall enough to stay in place with friction fit once the latch is closed. There's clearly a ~3mm gap between the trays and the front/back cover so once the latch is closed the trays just slide out freely.
I did not scale the trays at all. Was I supposed to do so? I had been presuming that the file was ready to print as-is.

I recently bought the dice tower with a trap door It is super cool but ive been trying to resin print it and I'm having some issues getting the pieces to slide the whole thing is kinda binding up on its self. Do you have any recommendation for printing the dice tower with a resin printer? thank you

I got your UZI with2 rates of fire and don't seem to see the size of the rubber bands that you use, don't want to spend money for the wrong ones, and the real rubber ones will last longer but cost more. Would appreciate the help,.

Hey! I bought the AR15/M4 Receiver model, but the stock tube bracket on my setup is different from the one on the Bottom_Receiver file. Would it be possible to modify it to fit my bracket? I can send you photos of mine for reference.

Alternatively, if it's easier, you could send me the editable file (STEP/F3D) and I can try to adjust it myself.

I used my Bambu A1 printer, 0.4, Bambu PLA basic material.
I cut with a knife the places you showen, but the wheel will not turn and open top.
Did I do something wrong?
Can I fix it?
