Hello, I've purchased nearly all of your mining equipment files over the past week (continuous miner, battery scoop, coal haulers, both roof bolters, feeder, and longwall miner). No, it's hard to print dice and keep them weighted properly. So, I haven't messed with custom dice any.

Hello, Im Loving all your underground mining equipment. I am running into a small issue with the prints wondering if maybe you can help? let me start off by saying im new to the 3D printing world so it may just be something im doing incorrectly. anyways on my continuous miner in the front where the circular blades are it sometimes comes out looking a little wonky and every time there are these small pin holes im Using PLA filament my nozzle is .04
I did change a few of my print settings this time around I did have it slow down on the last layer which helped some. but I still have these small visible pin holes. could you by chance tell me how you exactly printed yours? did you use a smaller nozzle? ( I also recently printed the feeder) and I have a ton of small holes in the front. hoping you can help. thanks so much for sharing your awesome designs.

Hi there.
I was just wanting to inquire about your Book of the Dead box. I saw that there were stipulations about it being used for commercial purposes. Which is totally cool of course! Was just wondering, if I were to print the boxes and have them be the display box for an item that I sell) always including full credit to you for the box) but the Book of the Dead box would be free, would that also be counted as commercial? Just wanted to ask. Thanks!

Just uploaded the new files for it. All of the files beginning with MTG BB are made to print supportless so it should be an easy print. Let me know if you have any issues with it.

Is the file for the continuous miner scalable in other programs? I'm wanting to print out a 1:24 scale model

As long as you apply the same scale to all the parts it should be fine. I've printed it at twice the size and at half the size without any issue. The model is 7.5" long so if you give me the size of the real life machine I can give the scale factor to apply to get you to 1:24

my printer is 300mm x 300mm x 400 mm

wow that a big printer, fdm is it, models easily resized in slicer, i work with this type of machine and the main body about shoulder height so as a man in 1/24 is about 3" then for this machine in 1/24 then height from bottom of track to top of main body would be about 2.5" and all sizes kept to that %, might need bit of fine tuning in % settings of slicer if important for exact 1/24 size, i resize various models in slicer regular so resizing easy enough

also am looking at your longwall shearer model, the cutting drum picks look a little too big and not enough of them, i reckon should be more but smaller picks and slightly angled as i already have one shearer model from cg trader where picks are smaller and angled so look more realistic, your roof supports and panzer pans look good tho but at this time not am ready to add to my collection

Hello! It seems I over looked uploading the latest continuos miner. I'll upload the new model tomorrow morning. As far as the long wall goes... I was designing that off a few pictures someone sent me for the model they run. He seemed happy with the final product so I took his word that it was accurate enough. I can take a look at it this week though and do a little research.

hello again where/what is your etsy account as have tried search on etsy and not finding any continuous miners or other mining machines on there as couple of people on uk mining sites that i'm on have asked if i could do a machine for them that i declined as too busy with various other stuff for myself or for couple of miners at the mine where i work, if i knew where you selling i could point them in your direction

see how this looks, i made it to where the tail can rotate and there's a small flap that folds down to lock it into an up position and fold back down if you don't want the tail in the air.

I never did those since I had the base game and didn't need to redesign them. I'd be happy to design them for you, though. I charge a $15 design fee for stuff like this if you're interested.
