I’m not sure which transmission to buy from you. I’m trying to 3D print an entire scx24. I found a spur gear and with your skills I’m sure you could make a complete build.

Can you make gears and this whole transmission would be 3d printed? Just mount the motor and go

Unfortunately I just dont see that working out. The gears are very small and wouldn't hold up or function smoothly. It would take a ground up redesign from scratch, and I still dont think it would work well (if at all).

That's so weird. It's definitely in your settings. Something to do with ignoring things walls maybe? Laying it flat might solve that for you! I use supports yes. I'll try to add a picture of print orientation.

hey there, I bought the mega 8 axles. When I load the file into the Bambu slicer they look fine. But when I slice it, it shows a hole in the back of diff on the axle.

Hey, I just downloaded bambu studio and sliced the axles. No holes in the diff with .16 or .20mm layer heights. Are you talking about the diff cover plate? That will have a hole for the diff to connect to the drive shaft

Is there any way I can send you pictures? It’s on the axle itself. It’s not that hole. It creates a hole where the bearing for the worm gear would sit.

I'm not sure how that is happening. I have checked all the files and sliced them with prusa slicer. There is no hole for me. I wouldn't print it that way anyways. Lay the part so the part where you see the hole is flat to the build plate.
Is there a hole before you slice the model?? Are you using a smaller than .4mm nozzle?
Also try to download the part again from your purchases page. Maybe you have a glitched model?

There’s no hole before slicing. So I’ll try that orientation. Also do you use supports for this?

Hey there! This is a "front loading" style axle, so the diff cover is also where the driveshaft output is. The hole is there for the worm gear shaft to fit through. The side with the diff cover will be mounted so it points toward the center of the vehicle. As to the bearing falling out, I'm not sure what you mean. Can you send me a message with photos showing what you mean? I have not heard of any issues with the parts.

In regards to your lowboy transmission, how much lower than a standard transmission does the motor sit? I’m looking to utilize this in a WT micro jeep build. And I would like for it to be able to fit under the interior without having to cut anything.
The Lowboy trans puts the motor roughly 5mm lower than my Superstock trans. Overall height clearance is about the same (5mm difference). Bottom of skid, to top of superstock is 39.5mm, same measurement on the lowboy is 35mm. I hope this helps!
