Just wondering if you plan on creating Diablo 2 NPC "Natalya" model from act 3.
Hey, I'm new to the 3d printing world and wanted to ask are prints able to be scaled and keep the same detail in a 1/12 scale?
hey hey, I have the tool that exports the game assets to into the animations, then those into STL files, but I cant seem to make them pose like yours. Would you explain how you go about it?
Thanks!
is there a way to set it up so all the files for bloodlord can be downloaded at once? it lets me with some of the models then others its wanting me to download individually! I love diablo i was so excited to see your creations i plan to use them for a custom heroquest homebrew! really great work thank you for sharing
Hi Richard, models look great. I will try some resin prints. Any chance you are working on an assassin?
Any chance for Act 5 NPCs?
Can you make assasin from D2r ?
Can you make stl of paladins from d2r resurrected?
hey, I don't know if you are still working on 3d modelling, but I saw that the assassin from diablo 2 was in the "todo" list... I would gladly pay for that model. Let me know if you'd like that. Also, I saw that you like to make some models prettier, I can share with you some links of material if u want. Great work
thank you! sweet stl,s
The Requiem models are incredible, I really love the designs of basically everything in that game. Pity there's no real resource to look up all of this. Have you thought about making another addendum for the PDF which just shows off all the armour sets and monster designs?
Ah, also, are you completely done with doing the Requiem models or do you still plan to eventually work on some of the other monsters you have in the completion image?
the zombies and terrain for doom eteranl are way to small how much do i need ti scale up the models
hello I'm trying to figure out how to get both of the icon of sin arms because I can only get the left ones not the right
Just want to say excellent job of making the models & thanks you for all your work and time.
Hello, Hope you are well. I firstly want to say thank you for all the 3D models you have made. I have printed several of them to play for games of DND and they all came out really well. I am planning on opening an etsy shop where I sell printed mimis and I wanted to ask if it would be ok to pint some of your to sell. Any of your models that sell I would of course make a donation to you and would also be giving you credit in the listing with a link to your page here. Please let me know if that is ok with you or if you would prefer me not to pint any of yours.
Hi! Really love your work... I saw u published some diablo 2 files... I'd love to have an Assassin Stl... I'm playing with an Assassin inspired character in my D&D campaign. I would pay for your work
Great models! I would love it if you could do half-life 1 models
The first Half-Life is pretty old and ill suited for the sort of conversion I do. I think someone who makes original sculpts based on game models would do a much better job.
Would absolutely love it if you could do half-life 1 models, great stuff!!
Hi there,
I love your D2R models! I was wondering if it would be possible to extract models from the original Diablo 2?
Some of those original models have much better aesthetics, like the Jungle Fetish and pretty much all NPC's/player characters. Perhaps that would a way to create the models that won't work properly with the exporter? (Like Blunderbore, Finger Mage, Suicide Minion,...)
If it is not possible, that's fine as well, I'm just curious about the technical mechanics.
I wouldnt call them models, they're just pixels :D Original jungle fetish would be cool, but you would need to basically create the model manually from scratch.
I would love to get my hands on the original 3D models from Diablo II, but the game itself only contains low resolution rendered 2D images. I try to get the Resurrected models closer to the original whenever I can - modify or replace faces, improve female proportions (thinner waist, wider hips, usually a bit larger breasts :-) and so on.
Maybe I'll eventually find good materials to adapt into some of those missing original monsters like fetishes or desert cats.
I have good news though. I've been messing around some of the less compatible models and skeletons should be doable after all. During animation they split in waist and the head detaches, but spine, arm and leg movements are fine, and that's what really matters. And they have some nice gear variety in Resurrected, so they should make for a decent skeleton army.
I was very excited to run across your Diablo II models. Any chance you'll be doing the Rogue and Sorcerer from Diablo 1 to go with the Warrior?
For the rogue I'm gonna adapt the Diablo II NPC rogue and give her some heavier armor too. Not sure about plate, but mail should be doable.
With the sorcerer I'm stumped. In the end I'll probably source suitable models from other games and cobble him together like I did with the warrior. Maybe I'll manage to modify some other fantasy robes in Diablo I sorcerer style. They're all inspired by Diablo anyways! :)
There are some shields for paladin, but could you add a shrunken head / homunculus-type shield for the Necromancer? :)
any chance you planning on doing any borderlands game figures
love the diablo models ive make 7 of them so far are you going to do baal by any chance
Dude, your DOOM stuff is awesome! Do you plan on continuing making all the enemies and characters? I would love to make hordes of demons along with troops of Human and Argenta minis. You could also make the mechs, human soldiers, elite guards, etc... that never really got any action in the game. I would be so hype for that.
The only nu-Doom stuff I'm definitely not doing are cacodemon, pinky and 2016 hell infantry, because their designs don't fit my idea of Doom universe very well. Everything else is a possibility. I'd really like to do the mechs to have a nice basic lineup of human anti-infernal forces. I also have better hardware now so I could make some ready to print demonic troopers in addition to the blender file already released.
And I agree that a lot of content in these games got really underused. Entire worlds worth of art assets, only used for linear sections and forgettable, inconsequential encounters. So I'm trying to rescue them for us, hobbyists, to do a better job. :)
That would be incredible! I tried to take a crack at your Imora Trooper blend, but I got stuck at the export process as well... and I have a beefy PC I thought! As far as the demons you mentioned, do you mean hust the 2016 versions of cacodemon and pinky or Eternal as well?
Yeah, I hate when they turn Doom demons into fantasy animals. Lore-wise modern Doom isn't about a pissed off marine grunt fighting actual forces of Hell, but an angelic super-being slaughtering hapless extraterrestrial animals enslaved for war by ancient aliens. Some monster designs were influenced by this more than others.
Ya I personally like the more scifi-feeling lore of new doom stuff wayyy more. Feels like there is some form of "explanation" for most everything. I definitely would still like to see you take a crack at Eternal-style Cacodemons and Pain Elementals.
I sent you an email in regards to your process creating these meshes. I would greatly appreciate some help with learning the process :)
Hey, sorry about such a long silence. I intended to answer with some finished tutorial, but it's taking a bit longer. I'm making some detailed illustrated how-to guides, but I'm still in the process of taking pictures and organizing stuff into some digestible lessons.
Hey, I downloaded the Quake 4 Iron Maiden STL and it was just the arms and head, no body components?
That's weird. I have uploaded the body recently, because I apparently left it out originally. Just tried downloading it and all the files are there. Maybe try clearing browser cache and downloading again? If it still doesn't work, I'll try to provide an alternative link.
Hi bro, do you have more plans?
