They were made quite a long time ago and are not based on 3D scan data or original technical drawings, so personally I’d recommend waiting a little longer.

We will be working on a completely new and much more accurate Panther steel roadwheel set, based on far better reference material. If accuracy is important for your build, I’d definitely go for the upcoming version.

Please keep in mind that we charge standard professional engineering and design rates. So, for a private customer looking for just one small custom part, it may unfortunately become disproportionately expensive.

Hey I can highly recommend the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra, but its a larger machine, the smaller version is the Elegoo Mars 5 having similarily great print results.

The Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K S is a good high-detail printer, but personally I would still choose the Elegoo Mars 5 Ultra. The tilting vat / tilt-release system would be a deal breaker for me, because it makes printing much smoother, faster and more reliable, especially as it strongly reduces strain on the printed parts and the FEP film, leading to much crisper results and reducing the risk of FEP leaks strongly.

So yes, the Phrozen is good, but I would always go for the Elegoo

Yes, we are aware of these issues. As the name already suggests, this set is a very basic accessory set, and it is also quite old by now compared to our newer releases. It was made at a much earlier stage of FAUSTUS MODELS, and it definitely does not fully represent the level of detail and accuracy we aim for today.

A successor set is already planned. The idea is to make a much more refined and historically accurate version, also based on 3D scans, similar to our newer products.

Your notes are helpful, especially regarding the canister, mess tin, holster and the request for a P38 holster and a spade without bayonet. I will keep that in mind for the updated version.

We definitely want to expand the 38D series in the future. However, developing a full tank kit is a very large and expensive project, especially if we want to do it properly with a high level of detail and accuracy.

For that reason, future 38D full-kit projects will most likely be crowdfunded in advance. That way we can see if there is enough real demand before committing the full development time and production cost.

So yes, more 38D variants are possible, but they will probably depend on community support and pre-orders.

Hi, yes, I can certainly make detailed swing arms for the 1/35 Panther.

But not immediately. Our current project schedule is already full, so I cannot promise a short-term release date.
It is on the list for a future release, but you would need to be patient.

Nice! Would it be possible to use those tracks and make them workable? I rather would buy another set instead of the tracks + exterior with spare track which can be build into a track :-)

With the recommended print settings, the tracks work very well on our Saturn 4 Pro test printer. Which printer are you using, and what resin/settings?

In any case, this sounds like a tolerance/calibration issue. The Tolerance Compensation feature in Chitubox should help here. Try a small adjustment, for example around 0.02 mm, and test again. That should tighten the fit of the guide horns in the track pads.

Yes, that sounds like the right approach.

Your printer and settings should generally be fine, so this is most likely just a small tolerance difference between printer, resin and calibration.
Start with around 0.02 mm
Then print a small test section and check the fit again.

If the fit is still too loose, you can carefully increase it a little further. SLA printers, resins and exposure settings can behave slightly differently, especially with functional parts like track links :)
