Hello! Need some more photos for Predator Movejaw Mask. Do you have it?
lol, what pictures are you looking for? I have no idea what you want...
some instructions on how to fasten screws on mask would be good.
Have you looked at the pics on the post? I have close ups of where the screws go, and instructions on there about what to do with them. Not sure what else I can tell you, are you having issues?
yeah, I saw all pictures on the post and I have issues with fixing lower mandibles(((
email me and I will send more pics. Mine works. All I can say is, use the caps and keep it loose. Another guy was using the caps upside down, so maybe it's that.
my email is jd-macleod@hotmail.com
Hello, I'm looking for one of your masks, but much much thinner, I think 2 layers, and maybe some detail and fitting customizations. Do you do custom request work? Thanks! Great work, by the way.
You can email me at jd-macleod@hotmail.com if you want to discuss details. Thanks.
Hi. It is a pleasure to meet you. I'm looking for some help editing an already made 3D file that is in 3MF format. There's three (3) small edits unable to complete myself due to recent limitations placed on my available software I'm hoping you can help me achieve.
The 3MF format file comes with 3 different parts making up a container modeled after a fruit; including the stem, and 2 halves of the fruit container. Sadly, the file has some details that I need removed. The stem has a thick cap object on one end that I need removed. The two halves of the container have a smaller sphere representing the empty cavity; where both of these need to be removed to ensure the container cavity is empty when the container is 3D printed. In addition, each half of the container has three (3) magnet objects each; where each need to be removed to ensure the magnet cavities are empty to allow inserting magnets after 3D printing.
Once these edits are made, each of the three (3) parts ideally would need to be saved as separate STL files.
If you could take a look and let me know if this is something you'd be able to help me with, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm also happy to jump on a call where we can use screensharing to better illustrate the edits I'm looking to have made.
Looking forward to your reply.
You can email me at jd-macleod@hotmail.com where we can discuss business matters through email. Thanks!
Will do. Thank you so much.
Good evening
The scarren dreadnought is amazing? Are there any other farscape models on the horizon? A command carrier? Prowler?
Thank you

hi, did you receive my offer? please
I have recieved a few. The ones I have approved have not yet been purchased, which one is yours?
I don't mind accepting offers, as I put things on sale often anyway, if the person is serious about purchasing, but I already have 4 offers in my que that have not been finalized, so starting to wonder if offers are worth accepting.
i ask few hours ago, but still without answer, i will pay immediately, but i have time until 20.30 (ITALY ) or tomorrow morining
Yours was the 4th one I I got, the only one I didn't hit approve on. You are asking for 50% off. How about this, I will put the model on sale for 35% off so everyone can get it at a reduced price again, as I had it before? I think that is a fair deal!
Done! You can get the model for 35% off now!
done, thank you, can you tell me how many cm is tall?
Well, depends on how you scale it
Ahoy! I purchased and printed your https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/art/prdeator-mask-with-movable-jaw 1725124 and it printed so well! I am having trouble putting it together. I saw you made a video but was to large to upload. Can you send me the video another way (wetransfer?) or help me with the build? The images have helped a bunch, but not enough for me to see all the details.
If you send me an email at jd-macleod@hotmail.com, I will converse with you and try to walk you through it. The things that I can see that any one needs to take heed of with this build are: print in a strong material with high infill and enough walls, 3 recommended, When attaching the mandibles, you need to be carefull not to break the top ones, using a bit of heat will help it go through the slot. There is kind of a twisting motion getting these in there. You could also heat up the bar to get them through. The screws should NOT be tight on any of the mandables. You want them to flop around so that they easily move when the mask is on. Use a strap that you can tighten well and goes both behind and over the top of the head. This was a very experimental project that worked out quite well in my opinion. It takes some patience to get it working correctly. Another thing you can do is make an attachment under the chin, an elastic or other type of band to allow the mask to move better with your jaw.
Hi, how does the Jason X Machete handle attach to the blade?
The hook part will fit into the ball on the end of the handle. Will add a pick on the page for you to see. I have been asked this before, so probably a good idea anyway.
Added.
Thank you, i just needed to the flip the handle around 😆
I having trouble with the teeth on the skull_face model printing incorrectly. They always seem to mess up with added supports still introduced (both tree and straight style). The teeth that are problematic are the two on either side of the front-most teeth (4 total [both canines and outside incisors]). Are there any suggestions for what I may be doing wrong? I'm using a flashforge adventurer with flash print 5 as my slicer. I tried putting the fan constantly on, and I've tried 85% infill and low as 25% infill. Any suggestions for those teeth that keep jumbling up like yarn?
https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/art/skull-mask-w-movable-jaw I see there's multiple skull models you've made, and this is the one I'm talking about
So, not sure how you are printing it. If the teeth are against the bed, more supports. blast supports all around those teeth. even up the who sides of the tooth to insure they don't move while you are printing. If you are printing upside down, slow the speed at the end of your print to allow lots of time for them to glide on there. Slowing the speed at the beginning can be a good idea as well. When prints start off too fast they often cause the first layers to be insecure. I always start my prints at 60 or 70 % and up the speed later. let me know if you have and further issues or questions \m/_
Alright, I'll try the stuff you're suggesting
Also, I use a 1.5 to 2 layer height for masks, mostly to save printing time and filiment, but also due to the size. You can usually use 2 as a layer height for these masks and they come out with as much detail. Thos first layers are essential though, you need a good foundation so the filiment doesn't lift off the bed.
Yeah, the first few layers were important. I solved the problems I was having by tilting the whole model 5° to lift the teeth off the bed, changing the support style to boxes, and lowering the temp to 190°C. I think it was my slicer software not really agreeing with the stl too. The Skull looks sick. I printed it in gold and in blue.
Also, can you please tell me what you use to strap the mask to your head? I'm just using a drawstring now, and it's not so great.
I have a 3d TPU printable strap here, which works great, I have used it for many of my masks. You could sink it into the bed and possibly print it in Pla or PETG too, would need to be thin. Other than that, I usually use elastic straps from a material and sewing shop I go to, where I can buy it by the yard. Probably something on Amazon or Ebay like that. Here is a link to my stap encase you want to try that: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/tpu-strap-for-masks
You will have to drill a hole to use the center top strap, but it works great for keeping it from slipping on your head.
Hi there, got the wolf mask. Really great attention to detail. Just got a question on the strap referenced in the instructions. There's no link to the source (references "here" but not where here is. Could you share that please?
thank you
I am obsessed with your work . was wondering if it some of the mask and the alien could be downsized ? I would of course pay for your time and the file thank you again.
not sure exactly what you are referring to, you can email me at jd-macleod@hotmail.com with further questions so we can figure it out
Hey I just wanted to be clear. You say with separations. If I print the full mask together os that one solid piece or designed to come apart?
both
Hi there ✌️
Are there any videos or more detailed tutorials of how to assemble the moving-jaw masks? (Dead Bird for me)
Would appreciate an answere within He next week 😅
Seriously? You just put the hooks on the pegs. Is that complicated? I respond as quick as I can, I have a life. Not sure how else I can explain how to do this. If they broke on you, or you had some other issue, please be more specific, The laughy face at the end is not explaining anything to me.

Hello dear, I really like your design. I intend to buy it, but I don’t know which type of jar would be more suitable for it.

Purchased your Tool Prison S*x doll this morning. Printing now. Very well done. Any plans for modeling any other Tool video "characters"? Specifically the AEnima alien baby or (if you're up for a challenge) the....I dunno what to call it..."combined" main characters at the end of the Schism video? Anyway, it would be a definite purchase from me! lol
So, ya, a lot I could say here, but don't want to weigh in with a bunch of unnecessary thoughts. So, firstly, I appreciate you paying for the doll. Second, I am a huge Tool fan, have been since the release of Undertow all those years ago. I play bass and learned as much of Paul's bass lines as I could, with no amp, chin on my bass to hear the vibrations, lol. As will all my models, I do have respect for other people's art. This doll is a loose representation of what Adam did in the video. I have done other Tool related stuff, you can find a Lateralus flame on here for free in my models. I did The whole cover, with removable layers to show the skeleton, but I didn't complete it, due to many reasons, mostly, out of respect for the artist Alex Grey. I don't really want to B*stardize his work, lol. As always, if you want to discuss anything further, my email is jd-macleod@hotmail.com I really want to branch into more original type work, but people seem to have little interest in it, obviously due to the whole collector's prerogative thing. Thanks for commenting!
Honestly, would not surprise me when you see more designs pop up of Tool, with the growing popularity of the music and the genre. It is an open market, and I have found now that more people are making models, they are finding new interests, other than the comic and horror related stuff.
Hi, I bought the Predator mask(930660) from you. It's a great piece! I'm printing it right now. I saw the parts (sleeves) for the dreadlocks on your other Wolf Predator mask(.1719740) Can I buy these separately or only with the mask?
Best regards, Micha
If you read the notes on the wolf mask, I made the dreads with rope and black tape, so, no sorry, you have to make them.
