Hi, thank you for your email. I am not sure which cannon you are referring to, whoever there is an attachment to the bottom of one of the cannons to fit on the shoulder armour. Clearly the desk cannon does not have a movable arm.

thanks for your response. I‘m talking about the classic 1987 plasma cannon. That‘s the one you‘re offering, right? Between the cannon and the shoulder armour mount there is a small movable arm connecting these two.

To MakerMakisan. i hope you understand the the watermarks and your Common License logo will not stop anyone from using your designs. It is so hard to prove in court. i understand times are tough. You should get paid for your work. Yet preaching about and watermarking your work will not help your cause. Personnaly I would just ask they add you as the desinger. Commercial reproduction can be just one prop. Commercial is stated as making a profit off of it. Just saying. Your prices are also pretty high. I could have the best file yet if its too expensive I may only get 2 downlaods a month. If I lower the cost id get hundreds. Thats just good business. nYou should look at the number of downloads rather than cost. I have been in the prop business for 3 years. We no longer need to buy files. And its considererd our generation of said file, Again just looking out for you guys, these are just my opions dont take offense at all. I have been doing this for awhile and have arrangments with desingers. AI is crazy it is. You dont want it to take your profits. Have a great day.

Hi, Thank you for your email and opinion. I have been working in the prop making industry in a professional capacity for over thirty years, working for many big names in the movie industry. Many of my reference images are sent to me by friends that own the original prop. My goal was never to make money from this area, my business does just fine for me, this is a side line. I wanted people to own a piece of movie memorabilia, unfortunately there are dishonest people with no skill sets other than stealing other people's work and selling it as their own and not mentioning the designer yet again making it too expensive for the average person to own. People will steal your work at the drop of a hat, and will think nothing of it, I have not been living under a rock, this is as sure as the sun comes up.

I appreciate your time in writing to me but truly can't understand how someone who has been making props for three years, who says they don't buy files but is on Cults looking at my work and who has only three files on their own site, is giving advice, this is confusing. Not that it is any business of yours but as you stated you work with designers, I have a number of people that I give permission to use my files for commercial use around the world. All people have to do is ask.

AI will destroy this industry, for sure, anyone that thinks it will not, has their head in the sand. The software that is out already can do things that I would take days to do. But that is the future, you run with it or you fall. 3D print has taken away the skills of traditional makers that were honed over many years, now AI will finish the job. As they say, wake up and smell the roses.

Please don't think I have taken offence to your opinion, I listen to any advice regardless of intent. it is good of you to email me thinking you are helping, that I appreciate, but to be presumptuous is not the way to go. To state that I am preaching about my watermark is beyond me as I have never done this, to feel that you have to educate me in the English language as to the meaning of the word commercial, truly amuses me, thank you for that I needed a laugh.

I am interested in getting my files to a bigger customer base but can't see how you could offer a deal that would be beneficial to use both. If you could give me some idea on what you have in mind I will very much consider it.

Basically thought I figured id print paint an sell. Your cut back would be 40%plus the cost of file 60% me for time labor material. Just have to figure what I’d sell for.

Hi, my files are scalable, the opening around the neck should be around 180mm this is the normal size head. Measure your head across from side to side and then scale up the helmet in your slicer to fit. I hope this helps.

Hi, Thank you for your email. I am sorry I don't know chitubox. I use Cura for all my slicing and print on Elegoo or Creality. I would suggest using a different slicer that will make it work.

OK, thank you for this guidance. I did try and use the slicer by importing them all as one object with multiple parts - but the slicer doesn't actually let them join for some reason, they are very close, but not actually touching. It was also very difficult to align them in the slicer too.

Meshmixer is very easy to use just bring in all parts, select them all and check combine. Then to make them one just check make solid. I hope that this helps

Hi, Thank your for your comment. I have not included holes for the magnets as it will depend on what size you print the finished gauntlet as many people have different sizes. Some people use Velcro. I would get small magnets drill out the size you need in the gauntlet and then bondo the magnets in. This is what many people have done. Gluing both together will make it very hard to wear. I hope that this has helped you.

The file online is correct in size and is not 50cm.

I have said that the file on my site is not as you say 50cm I do not make files that are so large. This has been printed by me and many other people without over sizing.

I cannot say what size you require. I put the file up at 180mm across the top of the shoulder which is the average shoulder size. I cant say what size everyone should make it due to the many varying sizes of people.

Please just stop. I have explained everything to you, and you have all the information. I simply want to be able to buy your 3D models without a problem with every 3D model I purchase. I have print maybe 5000 hours, i never have problem with 3d model order before.
Now I ordered the Wolf shoulder armor, and it’s not the same model as shown in your pictures. I really don’t understand why your models are not the same as in the photos. The four mounting tabs with the holes shown in the pictures are not present on the 3D model download.

I can send you screenshots of everything if you need proof.

If you cant fix this let me know and I'll upload again, but think that it will be the same outcome. Check your slicer or try another. Sorry but I cant think of anything else.

Hi, I would say thank you for your email but after you being rude I will not go there. I do not use AI in any of my works as you say. This I take as an insult and regard it to be incorrect. I can produce to cults all my files that show my modelling from start to finish. However, like you I use reference from the internet to get these results. Unless you have an original model from screen use, you too have taken reference from any source you can get. This is not your model, you do not own copyright to the original model. I do not used AI as you say and never have. I do not have other models that I have stolen from other artists. I made this from start to finish, because I am accurate in my work does not give you the right to make accusations of fraud to me.

Thank you for your comment. I would use magnets if you intend to wear it. If you glue it it will not go over your head.

Hi, thank you for your email. I cannot say what size magnets to use as I have no idea how large you printed the model, many people print to there head size. If you print the model you can see what size magnets you will require. You will also have to recess the magnets to fit the form.

However I would recommend Autodesk Meskmixer it is free and very easy to use, you can join the parts in one easy step. It is a must have software for 3D printing.
