weird... I can do it normally... anyway, it looks like a Cults issue, you should contact support for this kind of download problems. Anyway, if you haven’t already solved it, write to me on Patreon or Instagram and I’ll send them to you directly

Hello, I bought one of your files, Loudred (1086464). I printed it twice, but failed almost on the same spot. The first one it failed on the LEFT hand so cancelled it, then on the second one it failed on the RIGHT hand. I wonder if it's because the supports failed? I don't know did you or anyone had this same problem. I dont want to print again because it might fail again. I wanted to reach out first to you if this happened to you or to anyone else. Is there anything that i need to change in my print setting to avoid this? Again, I think the support failed. Looking forward to hearing from you, thank you in advance!

Hi, are you just starting out with resin 3D printing? There are many factors that can cause a print to fail. As you rightly said, it could be poorly placed supports or you might have used supports that are too small in that area (don’t trust the slicer’s auto-support function, it’s unfortunately pretty bad), and make sure there are no islands. But there are many other factors too. For example, the resin should be printed at a temperature between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius, the build plate needs to be properly leveled if it’s not automatic on your printer, etc. Look for general tutorials on YouTube at first, you’ll fail quite often so get used to it (back when I started, I failed 7 prints in a row before I started to understand how it works 🙈… it’s normal).

I do the filament 3d printing. Is this file set to only do resin printing? I’ve been printing about 9months now. So definitely have had some failed prints before. I’m going to strengthen the supports on the hands and see if that fix it. Thank you!

Just had a quick question, your posts about figures and what not, are those exclusively for resin printers? I started 3-D printing as a hobby but it's a Bambu P1S so I'm unsure if the figures would look the same.

I only have a resin printer so I don't have direct experience with fdm. But the thing is that fdm is more for functional stuff while resin is for miniatures, figures etc with high details. A 3d model works the same on every printer but fdm lacks in fine details (featers, fur, things like that) and you can find difficulties with thin parts (like a warrior with a thin sword/bow). So avoid models with thin parts and/or scale them up to solve possible problems. I have some free, test a couple of them so you can decide eventually :)

weird, it's the same stl file/extension as the others. I remember printing it using chitubox with no problem and I also just tried now with lychee slicer and it worked with no problem. Maybe you got a damaged file? try downloading it again

most likely a fake error in the slicer, if you press "auto fix" (or whatever it's called in your slicer) it says 0/0 holes fixed. Anyway, I've updated it, try again :)

Hi there I’ve been trying to search the internet for a figure of Melmetal at 1/20 scale and to no avail , so I am now resorting to 3d printing. Finding an actual good Melmetal model is actually harder than I thought it would be so I was curious if you would do a commission on a Melmetal model seeing how well all your other models are. I’m just trying to get Melmetals stationary pose from either Pokémon go or Pokémon shield. Let me know if possible thanks :)

to answer your question I have made several 3D prints and have been successful, but as far as being new then yes I have so much to learn.

The model have no issue, holes, or any structural problem... I double checked it to be sure but it was downloaded something like 40 times combining patreon last year and cults+cgtrader with no negative feedback for it.
Be sure to add proper supports since you can't print things mid air (only the flames have a flat base, but still it's not designed to be supportless). Look for a tutorial on how to do it if you're not familiar with supports. If you already have added supports, it might be some calibration issue... but I can't help you with that, you need to solve this with some tutorial for your specific machine or the customer service.
