Hey, was gonna give a heads up. Tried printing the Mad Cat III 5 different times and it has a massive hole in the back of the torso and back and on the bottom of the waist. My slicer seemst to be chalking it up to structural issues. Just thouhgt I'd let you know. Love your work, and thanks for your time!

Thanks for the feedback! This was an old design, so I'll take a look at it and repair what I can now that I'm not just kitbashing.
(Please be patient for the update as I am away currently.)

Hi Karloff, the fixes should be available to you now. Hope this helps.

I purchased your MW4 Mad Dog II pack and noticed it’s missing the looking down pose that there is an image of in the pack, how could we get that corrected?

Hey Aeronnelson,

I appreciate the donation. I had posed the Mad Dog Mk.II just to mimic the cinematic, but had never really expected someone to want it for tabletop. My apologies for that being misleading. I'll dig up the file and update this specially for you.

Hi, this model is updated with the missing pose. Enjoy!

Just downloaded the new zip, it looks awesome! thank you so much!

Howdy! I've purchased your Urbanmech model, but I'm having a difficult time getting it to download, it will get about 3/4 done and then fail. Do you have any suggestions or maybe an alternate download link?

Hey Sarna Salvage, I would assume that this is because it's quite a large file (apologies, this was a first attempt with one too many subdivisions). If there's a specific model or models you're missing let me know and I can email you the files directly.

Hi mate, a fellow Battletech enthusiast here. Wondering where you got the clan emblems from for your Sci-Fi Medallions? I've been hunting around for a Clan Snow Raven .svg and your medallions seem to be the closest to what I'm looking for!

Hey there, I'm glad you like them so much. It's been a few years since I had sourced the .svg files for these.. but for the more obscure ones, I had taken the simplest photos I could find off Google and converted them to the SVG format as required.

Retracing my steps, I think I used some of the flatter, simplified emblems from the camospecs website. Unfortunately I've since had my hard drive die, and the original reference images are lost.

*Unit Color Compendium, not camospecs

No worries at all, I'll look to source stuff from there.

Hi i would like to know how much it would cost if you could do a commission of the Quasit mech from battletech i havent seen a 3d model yet and would love to see it done in your style, thank you

I can't for the life of me get your American Mecha Unity (Space Snake) to print properly. Have you heard of any issues?
All your other files have been perfect for me

I haven't had any issues printing myself or from other people. As far as I recall, there are no voids in the model? Is it issues in the slicer, or the actual printing?

Heya, I'm interested in a Hoplite model HOP-4Bb based on your Hoplite and wondered if you'd be interested in producing one for a fee. There isn't a model available to the best of my knowledge.

Hey there, I'd be down to give it a shot. If you want to talk about it further, send me an email:

kitfox.customs@gmail.com

Hi, got a couple of your designs. How do I give you some money. 8-))

Great! If you want to donate you should be prompted upon downloading most of my models. If not, I linked my ko-fi page in the descriptions of my models as well.

Thank you so much!

Hey man, I lost your email, could you shoot me a new one? brianbanzai66@gmail.com, I want to send you a nice render and color I did of your Black Knight model.

Messaged.

Hi, I just found your amazing Arctic Fox model. Would it be possible to get a copy I could separate the shells on? I want to make the other variants and I would need to pull the Mech apart to do this. I am making this for myself, not for redistribution.
Outstanding work!

Sent you an email.

Love the ornaments and medallions. Might there be an update with "St. Ives Compact" in the future. Pretty Please! :)

Hey there, I've added this minor Capellan faction.

Dude, love the models. Insane work. What universe are they from / based on? I thought some sort of Mech Assault game, but then I noticed "American Mecha Belarus Capitol" sounds so much like my favorite Martian I figured I'd ask (thinking there might be some kind of Warhammer connection). Regardless, you've produced some amazing work my dude I'll post photos once I print a few on the resin machine and paint them up.

Cheers! It's not 40k related. I just like big stompy robots. The capitol of Belarus is named Minsk.

Hello! The Maned Wolf is a great model. Really thank you for that. Is there any chance you insert the leg pose from the TRO-Pose picture?

Hey Nietzsche, I'll include this in the next update. Stay tuned.

THANK YOU for making this!
Your Grand Crusader FULL Classic pose only contains the upper torso, the legs are missing. Any chance you can upload that one too?

Oops! I'll fix this tomorrow. Sorry, it's a lot of parts to keep track of 😵

Fixed!

I truly appreciate that you've done the original, anime-style space telephone-company mecha. I think you're the only one I've seen who's tried to tackle their original appearance, and I love them.

Do you have plans for the grand crusading big o' boy, too, by chance? Or perhaps that other one from the SNES manual that I don't think was ever officially reference or re-created anywhere? I can't remember if that one had any art from more than just the front angle.

  • 2 мне нравится

Thanks :)
I have the original comstar book that has the SNES art, with a few other pictures of that Grand Crusader design. The challenge is that the art only shows a side angle. I've been putting it off since life got in the way, but I hope to model it eventually.

  • 1 мне нравится

That's certainly understood! Whenever you may get back to them, the original art that eventually made it into TRO 3058 is probably a good approximation of the front, and you may be able to extrapolate from that. Even the newer version done with CGL's style in ilClan Rec Guide 23 can help to add to it. I know all pieces of art are on Sarna.net entry for the mech.

Out of all the mechs that came from that game / sourcebook, the Grand Crusader was my favorite, hence my question. I loved the other two, as well, but there was something about that large, rounded shape with the separated "backpack" that I thought was really cool.

  • 1 мне нравится

Added the grand crusader!

I love the design of your AMERICAN MECHA SNOWY VULPINE. Only problem is that it has an error in it. Near the groin of the mech. My printer sees it as a Column. Only way I was able to print this was as a two piece upside down. That stopped the error but made the rear of the mech not render well. Just needs a touch up.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll fix this ASAP and run it through netfabb.

Hello, this should be fixed btw. Let me know if you still have persisting issues with Lychee for this model.

I haven't had a chance to print it yet. But as soon as I do will let you know. Thank you for the update and info.

Love the designs from the obscurer sources, like the Japanese manuals. Have you ever considered branching out to other sources? I’d love to see some Assault Suit Leinos or Mekton Zeta designs.

  • 1 мне нравится

I hadn't heard of those, but I love the art design of the Mecha in them! Typically I've been focusing on 'unseen' stuff, as that seems to be interesting to most people and still satisfies my desire for the more retro look.

The Grand Crusader and Viper are on my list but if you have recommendations for crossover proxies from the series you mentioned, I'd definitely consider. As long as there's enough good reference art to go off of I can likely recreate it.

The MAD III looks awesome! Do you think you could do other versions of it? PLZ?!?!

Which version are you looking for specifically? As this isn't originally my own work, I don't want to redo all of Kirsala's awesome stuff and steal their thunder, so to speak. However, if you have a specific request, I would happily tackle this.

Hello. I've had a lot of problems with artifact supports. I end up with solid blocks going from the print surface to the model. I had this when trying the Spartan, and now problems with the Hoplite as well.

  • 1 мне нравится

I'm having issues with the hoplite as well. Seems to have a hole in it's Center torso, tried to fix it but just couldn't. It's the Best looking hoplite ever so i'm gonna keep trying

Hello, did you mean to say the Striker and the Hoplite? Please let me know if you've been able to resolve your issues printing these are I've updated both of them.

  • 1 мне нравится

hello, sorry to bother. but ive had some issues with some of your models, whenever i try to print them they are tiny, any idea why? great job btw on the hornet and hoplite, i love them!

Hi there, are you scaling the models before printing them? It may be that the printer or slicer you're using is reading the measurements in imperial units instead of metric perhaps. This is the only thing I can think of.

i was thinking the same thing, sorry to have bothered you. I've been trying to print the hoplite proxy you uploaded, but it seems to be missing a piece below it torso? im not sure

Hey there. I updated the Hoplite to v1.3 which should fix a lot of issues and make the body solid. This was one of the first ones I had ever modelled, so there were definitely some things to repair. Please re-download the file for the updated model.

Hello. Reaching out to you to see if you have this model in maybe a static pose or if you could maybe post a version with all the shells for manipulating its stance.
Great model. Well done!

Hi, which model are you referring to?

Sorry. The Jackrabbit

I haven't rigged the model, but I can put it in a different pose if you'd like. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll update the Jackrabbit file

Looking for a basic static pose. Head straight, RA and LA weapons pointing straight forward. Legs just standing. That would be great!

Hello again. Wanted to touch base to see if you have had the chance to update the Jackrabit or if you could upload a stl file that has all the shells seperated for me to mod myself. Thanks

Hey, sorry for the late reply on this. I finally got around to re-posing the model into a static stance for you. I had saved over the original model file so it took me a while to do manually.

  • 1 мне нравится

Thanks for putting up the static of this mini! It's great. Another question for you. Your Striker. Would you be able to provide a static pose option for it as well?

Why do you need my mechs in a static pose?

When it comes to painting them or using them on table top, I find static pose better to paint or play with. Don't get me wrong, dynamic poses are cool but I like the statick more from a gaming and modeling standpoint. I like them to look like they are firing vs. moving and static to me seems to convey that. If I need to break the model apart and rebuild it in my software I can but since its all one piece vs. having all the shells, its much more time consuming, so that is why I asked.

Hey! It looks like the KingCrab_010_v1.2_Torso file has a big void in the center which makes it difficult to support, as the walls of the model are voxel thin, is it possible to get this fixed? I cannot wait to print this model!

Hello! Due to the nature of ripping this from MWO and the way they model their pieces, this is not FDM supported. Unfortunately I can only recommend you use SLA for this.

I'll definitely take a look and see if I can 'solidify' the model for you, but no guarantees.

I am using a SLA resin printer to print this model! It looks like there is some artefacting with the models, as
well. I appreciate the help, the model is awesome!

Good to know, thank you for catching this! I was able to repair and fill in the model using Prusa's slicer and then tested in Chitubox. Should be no problems now. Please re-download the file. (I've updated this and the torso should reflect as '1.3')

If you could, let me know if there are other designs you have trouble with. :)

I will have a print over this coming week, I will keep you updated! Your a legend with a swift fix <3

i need you to know you are my hero. i have been waiting for someone to make a better Striker model for going on two years now, i've been going crazy. props to the other guy for being true to the artwork but. thank you so much.

You're very welcome! I'm glad I was able to create this for so many people.
