M69, and M83 60mm mortar rounds are not 60mm
Can you clarify what you mean by saying they're not 60 mm?
The m69 round is 1mm too wide at 61mm wide, the m83 is 6mm too wide at 66mm.
The sizes of the shells are bigger than 60mm so they dont fit inside my mortar tube, ergo they are not 60mm

having problems the m829a3 apfsds the 250mm file versions printed fine problem I am having is the windscreen part of the penetrator rod doesn't fit the new sabot parts new penetrator parts fit though doesn't include new windscreen
Hi @markmill2, sorry that you're experiencing this issue. Please make sure the penetrator is assembled in the correct order. The windscreen should fit the 250 mm version. I've also updated the M829A3 windscreen and increased the tolerances to improve the fit. The updated files have already been emailed to you. If you still encounter any problems, please let me know and I'll be happy to make further adjustments.

I am looking to try to make a single copy of just the top black portion of this shell for myself. I am looking to make a 105mm copy. can you direct me where to find a copy of the dimensions? I like your second to the shortest copy, but in the 105mm dimensions.
Hey @mcdeivis, the current files are at real scale with a 120 mm diameter for the parts you want to print. To scale them down to 105 mm, use uniform scaling at 87.5% in your slicer. I can also send you a pre-scaled version if you'd like—just contact me at (simulation.plus.yt@gmail.com).

If you are referring to the sabot, it depends on the projectile. For the M829, it is 318 H × 120 W × 120 D. However, it is split into two parts, so it can fit on a 250 mm printer.

Hello 3DPlus! I have recently just bought an assortment of your models with the 3BM60 APFSDS round catching my eye the most, I am currently using a Anycubic Mega SE with a total build length of 250mm, is it possible for you to cut down the height of some of the 3BM60 files to fit into such height? Additionally I have found out that the model of L27A1 APFSDS Challenger 2 ammo you have on your page is way undersized for some reason whenever I import it into Cura, I am not sure if this is a fault on my end or that's just the size of the model. Either way, I really like how you make your models! Thanks for building on this platform! =)
Hey @dayumn, glad you like my designs. I've updated the 3BM60 files with a version compatible with 250 mm Z-height printers, and the files have been sent to you. Regarding the L27A1, you're right, the files are quite dated, and the model was not full-scale. I'm currently working on an updated, real-size version that will be finished this week. I buy the VT Fuze , my Printer is an Bambulab p1s and i print with an 0,2 nozzle .
The Top cap which consists of two parts, does not fit the igniter base at all. Therefore, this model is completely unusable.
Please refund my purchase; otherwise, I will contact Cults support.

Hey Patrick, sure—I’ll start working on these rounds as soon as possible. The obturator and rotating bands are not universal for all 120mm rounds, so please print the obturator included with each model. If any of these obturators don’t fit, please let me know and I’ll modify it.

I have a bambu printer that changes filaments by itself. is there anyway you can add just the 60MM marking on the body thats curved and extrude it out for me .00005 so i can paint it in bambu studio and print with the marking. Are the driving bands a separate piece from the rest of the body? And if so, does the lower half of the body come off to get it on?

Sorry, one more question, are your rounds like the T33 APBC hollow or solid?
It depends on its actual structure. The T33 is solid like the real one. However, you can request a custom design with your own specifications.
I'm going to get the ( M26 Pershing (Super Hellcat) American WW2 Ammunition ) but don't need them to be solid, would like them to be hollow on the insides (just with the exterior walls) I like to fill them with sand to get the weight.
This will take some effort, but I’ll make sure it’s finished this month. Although you need to be a Ko-fi supporter to request a model, never mind :).
