Question! What's the best way to mark the pin tokens? I assume the top doesn't rotate, printing them now. Is that something that in the future could be magnetized to create a movable indicator using the fire blast like the OEM ones?
I don't actually have a good answer for you, since I'm yet to play a game of Bolt Action - So far only read the rules, made these tokens on a whim :)
The flamepart on the pinned tokens is as you yourself concluded, attached to the bottom part - should the flame-part be rotateble with regards to the base with numbers? If that is the case, I can for sure do some update to the files to support this.
Darn, I just typed up a response but it was deleted.
TLDR: I just got into the game and haven't played yet either but I did get a starter box which had some. It seems they use two prongs on the fire with a not so pronounced arrow on the flat side of the flame to point to the numbers. The inside of the wheel/number part is grooved so it can click into each number.
There are two best approaches to modifying this: the OEM way, which is to create a pointer on a flat face and make the fire a separate piece to slot in so you can rotate it to each number.
The almost better way to do it would be to create a bottom section the can attach via the magnet part you've already created that points to the number you want to select. Bonus points to take it a step further and create a window to the number you're selecting that hides all the other numbers.
