Three Skulls Guitar Fretboard – Left and Right Designs

Create a distinctive custom guitar fretboard featuring three vertically arranged skulls inspired by the famous “Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil” symbol.

Each skull represents a different part of the concept:

• One skull covers its ears — Hear No Evil
• One skull covers its eyes — See No Evil
• One skull covers its mouth — Speak No Evil

The skulls, skeletal hands and flowing decorative elements form one continuous composition adapted to the long, narrow shape of a guitar fretboard and the position of the fret slots.

This digital set includes two complete versions of the fretboard:

• Left-oriented design
• Right-oriented design

Each version is provided as a separate STL 3D model and DXF vector file. You can select the direction that best suits your guitar project or manufacture both versions as a contrasting pair.

📦 WHAT YOU RECEIVE

This digital download includes 4 files:

• 1 × Left Fretboard STL
• 1 × Right Fretboard STL
• 1 × Left Design DXF
• 1 × Right Design DXF

The two STL files contain complete three-dimensional fretboard models with decorative recessed designs and integrated fret slots.

The two DXF files contain the corresponding left and right decorative designs. They can be used as auxiliary vector files when preparing CNC toolpaths, creating inlays or engraving the patterns onto existing fretboards.

No physical fretboard, guitar, wood, inlay material or finished product is included or shipped.

⚫⚪ BLACK AND WHITE CONCEPT

The dark and light fretboards shown in the images demonstrate one possible way to manufacture and present both versions together.

The left and right designs may be produced using contrasting dark and light materials. When placed together, the black-and-white pair creates an additional symbolic reference to Yin and Yang, representing balance, opposites and the connection between light and darkness.

This is an optional creative concept. The digital files do not contain assigned colors or materials. The final material, color and manufacturing method are selected by the buyer.

The left and right versions may also be used separately.

🔧 POSSIBLE MANUFACTURING METHODS

The STL models can be used to manufacture complete fretboards on a CNC machine.

The decorative recessed areas may be:

• left open to create a carved appearance
• filled with contrasting wood or another inlay material
• filled with pre-colored wood filler
• filled with colored powder and secured with adhesive
• carefully filled with epoxy resin
• used as references for laser engraving

Because a guitar fretboard has a curved radius rather than a completely flat surface, liquid materials such as epoxy resin may spread or flow out of the recessed areas. Test the selected material and process on a separate sample before applying it to the finished fretboard.

The DXF files may be used for:

• CNC toolpath preparation
• Decorative engraving
• Inlay preparation
• Laser engraving on existing fretboards
• Adapting the decorative designs to another compatible project

CNC toolpaths and machine settings are not included.
