Hello Arron... Please update your profile for the 3D print for 'Mechanical Quick Grab Phone Stand' that the design needs to be modified for thicker phones and with phone cases because this download print for the grab arms are not deep enough. On my Samsung 24FE with case cover the arms only get half way and don't actually hold the phone. Secondly, you make mention of springs but don't say where on the print they should be installed. I didn't see others comments until after I had this printed. Thank you
Hola!! Cómo estás? Quería saber si podrías pasarme los archivos del soporte de celular en archivo obj, desde ya muchas gracias. Me encantan tus diseños!
Hola me encanta tu diseño (Soporte telefónico mecánico de agarre y liberación rápidos), me preguntaba si me das permiso para adaptar la base a el modelo de mi coche y a compartir el resultado en cults? Gracias de antemano.

hey, I loved your design but I want to give it a redesign and try something new with that, by any chance could you share the actual dimension of the parts. so I can redesign in the SolidWorks. I want to try something new with this as my school project. Thanks in advance...

Hello,
For Trigger clamp.
1. How do you fasten shaft to trigger clamp? What glue did you use?
2. Is there any issue to make all parts in PLA tand still work?
3. For Clamp Trigger spring, I dont see any indentations to hold spring in place. Do you have update STL to to this?
Thanks
Greg
Hello,
I have been messing with the design of the mechanical quick grab/release phone stand of yours. Like a lot of free designs I discovered the tolerances were not great for FDM printers (mine anyway) so I started adjusting those. Then i didn't want to buy a spring so i designed in a printed spring which works well. So now i can make a bunch for Christmas presents (yippee). Tempted to go further and make it an Art Deco phone holder as Art Deco has been my thing lately. If i do that I would want to charge for that. Is this ok with you? I see you have an open license.
Regards,
Brian Gale
I am a teacher for 11th and 12th grade students in a course Practical Engineering at Cary HS in Cary NC. In my class we teach 3d modeling with Fusion 360. First, I would very much like your permission to use your
Mechanical Quick Grab/Release Phone Stand model in my class? Second I noticed that in one of your screenshots you were using Fusions 360. I was wondering if you had available the Fusion 360 files for the Mechanical Quick Grab/Release Phone Stand, so the students do not have to go though the frustrating steps to convert the mesh to bodies?
Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the delayed response. I would be honored for you to use my design as part of your course if you are still interested. Are you hoping to get the .f3d file for the design? By the way, based on the short description of your class it sounds amazing, I would have loved to have that sort of course back in high school.
Bonjour pensez-vous qu'un simple petit élastique pourrait remplacer le ressort pout le modèle de support de téléphone ?
can I please print and sell these on Etsy
Hi! I made it like the specs but it does not press in the end, any trick?
Is the spring on MECHANICAL QUICK GRAB/RELEASE PHONE STAND completely neccessary?
this incredible mold to create the sketch, I'm just starting to develop for IOS, CONGRATULATIONS.

Hi. I printed this design for the mechanical phone stand. Printed with the Ziro carbon fiber you recommended. Problem I’m having is with fragility. The top of stand; the three tabs broke off with minimal effort when just attaching stand link. The tabs on the link connecting to base plate broke off when attaching to link. And the tab to connect the spring broke off when attaching the spring.
Advise, ideas?
Hello, your popsocket phone grip looks amazing. Wanna try to make myself and for my friends with different stickers on it. Can you tell me what model of 3d printer you use? Thank you for your answer.
Just uploaded a few more pics, one or two of which include the spring needed to make the design functional.
Geared phone holder, the original link to springs on Amazon is out of stock. Is the spring in question a 5mm OD x 10mm long, 0.3mm wire size, extension spring? I looked through all the pictures trying to find a visual of the spring showing it's size and how it is installed but no luck. Super cool design!
billvi@gmail.com is my address.
Thanks,
Bill
