Hello
Didint you think of making some catgirl pilots? like ones you can put sitting on mechs etc? :D
Im looking to make catgirl pilot for every of my imperial knight but im to lasy to kitbash siting models :P

  • 1 j’aime

There are some older pilot models I've done, I don't see why they wouldn't work for knights, but they might require a bit of work. I don't have any immediate plans for the likes of knights.

Hello! I was looking to use some of your Nyarran Maids for a OPR Kingdom of Angels list. I think they are perfect for the human(cat) infantry. I was wondering if you had plans to create any winged/angelic feline units before I keep looking around. Thank you

  • 1 j’aime

Hello! I'm glad you enjoy them. Unfortunately I don't have any immediate plans for any winged units for the Nyarran line.

  • 1 j’aime

And plans for more Nyarrans? If you're open to suggestions, maybe more horses, feline mounts, flails, great axes, or pets perhaps

  • 1 j’aime

Certainly! There is still a number of options to fill out, though they are going to be taking a backseat for a moment. While I'll admit I work at an odd pace and things are always subject to being shaken up, I have a trello to offer a bit of an idea of where I'm at for the immediate future: https://trello.com/b/6S4i02Lx/sculpting-and-work
As for those options, some are in consideration, with my reworking of the design for the priestess I'll likely make a variety of their weapons as variants for the maid-at-arms, so flails and maces will be going to them in the future, great axes are an idea, I think I was considering packing those arms with a character I had in mind, though I'll have to consider it. Pets, I know I have plans for one for the command consort.

  • 1 j’aime

So many things to look forward. I'll be impatiently waiting for more!

hay , are there any chances that you create more cat soldiers?;)

  • 1 j’aime

Absolutely! I'm working on more models that should be able to be released shortly.

Hi there i love your work!
When some of the printing shops were still selling your models, there was a line of winterguard carrying shotguns but i noticed your collection on cults does not have those models. I would love to be able to print some for my personal collection, and if they are here and i am just blind please let me know!

  • 1 j’aime

Hello! Thank you!
That would be the variants made by Resin Munitorum, I believe those were made with arms from Red Makers, though I don't recall the exact kit they're pulled from.

  • 1 j’aime

Thank you for adding the helmeted head options, you friggin ROCK!

Hey, i had a question. Is there a Full Pack with all Winterguard models?

There is not a bundle set on Cults at the moment. I have a sort of bundle setup on Myminifactory but I need to update it since they finally made bundle objects over there.

Hi I was just wondering if the Winterguard Infantry Pack is pre supported?

  • 1 j’aime

Yes! All of my paid files should be presupported.

hello would it be possible for me to pay you so that you can print plans for me that I buy from you because I am all with all my printers

Your new Storm Sirens are an interesting design. What are they intended to proxy for?

Thank you! With their current kit they have options that would make them suitable proxies for Catachan infantry squads or Kroot Carnivore squads

Love the new designs. I'm building an Fantasy army for kings of war. I think the maid at arms will be perfect for this. Any plans for doing mounted figures. Would love to have cavalry and wizards. Keep up the great work.

Thank you very much! The Maid-at-Arms are very flexible and some people on my discord have me seriously considering putting together some more for a Kings of War army too. I do plan to do mounted maids in the foreseeable future, and in fact will probably be the next new kit which will be after I do some updates to the Maid-at-Arms kit itself.

  • 1 j’aime

I would buy 90% of your figs if I could sell them too. Seen these on etsy but cant afford the shipping from the states.

Hi, have you made any 'brave' variants for the winterguard or veteran units like you did for the Nyokan rangers? Thank you and I love your designs!

  • 1 j’aime

Afraid I haven't really yet.

Ah, darn. Do you think it's something ya might do in future? Or maybe make the rangers modular? Thank you for responding.

  • 1 j’aime

Perhaps something in the way of that, though modular rangers could be neat too. Thank you!

  • 1 j’aime

Of course! Look forward to what you make next!

Discord server link does not work, There's any way to be aware of any progress or new releases? I check this every 2 weeks just in case :)

Anyway, that's a great job

How curious! Whatever the reason for it, I've updated the link and it shouldn't expire now. https://discord.gg/sYstKTPuBP

As for updates either my discord or twitter is where I generally post any updates. Thank you!

it would be awesome if we could get some mounted winterguard!

Hey.

I came across your stl files here and really love what you did so far.
So I was wondering if you perchance do commission work?

kind regards

  • 1 j’aime

Hello! I appreciate your kindness, but I'm afraid I can't accept any commission work at this time. Thank you.

  • 1 j’aime

Ok. thank you for getting back to me. If this ever changes then please let me know

Thanks for the Winterguard upgrade :) I have some more of these gals on my printing queue schedule for next January. I love these models.
Any chance of some of the models having helmets (with suitable ear covering of course) ? Or perhaps making the heads interchangeable with the heads set and expanding that to have the helmet version.

  • 2 j’aimes

Apologies for the delay, but yes! I do plan on releasing packs with helmeted and hatted cattes both as individual heads and bodies for the Winterguard sets.

Any update on the helmeted versions being released. Not seeing them up and like to get the set if possible.
Thanks in advance.

  • 1 j’aime

Hello, I'm a fairly big fan of your work and have purchased a fair few of your files. I had a question for you though. Would you by chance make a file with your 'Blizzard Corps' heads as separate files, similar to your 'Nyokan Heads and Tails Pack' for those of us who want to modify some pre-existing models, or the new upcoming Guard models?

  • 1 j’aime

Thank you very much! I would very much like to make independent heads that might fit either the existing or new guard and helmeted versions for my own Winterguard kits in the future and will look at that in the near future.

Hi! I did buy all of your stuff and recently got around to setting up my printer and started printing some winterguard!
I'm looking forward to more types and many more nice things!

I think some of the free stuff comes unsupported - would it be possible to get a supported version? I do not mind paying.
Anyway - I will now like a bunch of things, and post makes soon.

  • 1 j’aime

So, I did print a few now, and I like them!
Including the WINTERGUARD TANK COMMANDER 2; I wonder which tanks she works or is a Winterguard Tank coming up too?

  • 1 j’aime

Thank you very much! I'll have to go through the free stuff that I have to get it supported when I get the chance.

As for the Tank Commander, I hadn't designed her with a specific tank in mind. I was planning to use her for a Macharius tank that's been sitting on my painting table for the better part of a year or more, but there's really no reason she couldn't work in a Leman Russ or the Ragnarok I have available beyond a possible need to trim her leg.

As for Winterguard Tanks, I have some in the works but I'm in the middle of a large project at the moment so it definitely is a ways down the line.

  • 1 j’aime

You are welcome! I took some pictures of the prints and shared pictures of them to some discord server I'm on, and I think you may get more sales!
Do you have some community to communicate what you are currently working on?

  • 1 j’aime

Thank you much! I've been considering it, at the moment I'm working on a new twitter just for all the modelmaking stuff, otherwise not really at the moment.

How about a Discord Server?
Btw - do you have plans to add a communication unit to the BLIZZARD CORPS?

  • 1 j’aime

A minor update - Unpainted Makes will come tomorrow:
I printed WINTERGUARD BLIZZARD CORPS and WINTERGUARD VETERANS, both for Kill Teams.
Well, I made an error with the Veterans: I tried to attach the accessories after the arms, which did not work out - will most likely try to make a small "bag" with green stuff.

  • 1 j’aime

Apologies for the delay! I'll probably be looking at a dedicated comms model whenever I go back for a command set, otherwise the larger antenna attachment is made to fit onto the backpack of any of the models, effectively making a comms model.

I think a discord server would be great idea as a place for your "followers" to hang out and discuss a few things.

Absolutely! I've put one together and am still figuring it out a bit but I suppose I can throw out the invite link for anyone interested. https://discord.gg/zEqF6yQyJk

Hey there,
I like the little chicks, but I am not a big fan of cat ears and tails. Is there any possibility to offer heads and bodies without those parts? I can always use a mesh editing sw to cut those parts but it will be ugly. You can handle it much better having the original design and I will be happy to buy some of the sets.
Cheers,
Tse

Hey guard bro. Do you happen to have a discord. I would like to give ya some ideas

Heyo, sure. My discord is ZeDarkPenguin#2901 feel free to shoot me a message.

Some of the Winterguard veteran torsos have enclosed empty voids within the model, which might cause some problems after some time.
Comms 1A, has some sort of void between neck and torso, and 4D, has empty enclosed space within scarf (but I imagine other scarfed figures might have this problem).
Worst case scenario they might crack with some of the more reactive resins.

I see! Thank you for pointing that out, I haven't known of any problems so far, but I'll look to get those pieces fixed.

Hate to be That Guy, but 4A and 4B still seem to have the voids, if I'm seeing things right.

  • 1 j’aime

Daagummit. I'll look through these but might take a while, if I've managed to miss these I'm sure there is some others I've missed.

  • 1 j’aime

Hi I love the figures and just wondering will you be doing some jungle fighter versions for them

  • 1 j’aime

I will be making junglefighter catgirls in the future, though they will be a bit different from the winterguard set.

Question, or constructive critisism. Do you think that you could mod some bodies/heads to be more contrast paint/wash friendly? Less smooth surface, more grooves across the hair lines. During painting, they fill up with contrast, making hair lest 'helmet'-ish, and helping making the effect nice quickly :)

An example, from One Page Rules dwarves: https://ibb.co/FsJTmMM

BTW Winterguard Veterans work great in Grimdark Future: Firefight, I am gonna show my painted ones at local anime convention, I will surely add photos next week.

  • 1 j’aime

I would gladly buy this kind of torso set as a separate upgrade set, as I recon it will require consederable effort to make.

  • 1 j’aime

Interesting, and those are some mighty deep grooves, but I suppose they've a lot more experience overall, hah. I don't know when I'll get them around, though I've figured on adding these sorts of things eventually (expansion packs for various neat things.) I admittedly don't use contrast paints too much, and tend to more typically paint and aggressively smother in wash which always seems fine for me. Either way, I'd love to see, I'm glad they're working great for you otherwise!

  • 1 j’aime

Grooves look deep in this particular example, they do not necessarily have to be as deep, the V/U cross section seems to be more important for them to function as I mentioned. Both washes and contrasts work nice with them ;)

Forgot to ask in my last message - do you have any plans for Enginseers to go with the Winterguard?

I do plan for enginseers, but they will likely be, much like standard enginseers quite different.
