At the moment, we print our designs on the Bambu Lab A1 and Bambu Lab P1S. Before that, we were using Ender 3 printers.

In the 3D Printing Settings section of each model description, we specify which printer was used, what filaments we printed with, and the exact settings we applied.

I have the same printers, and I've noticed that the black filament tends to show through the white filament. do you have any tips on how I could make my prints look more like yours?

For 10 mm eyes, you need to scale the snake up by 25% (set the scale to 125%). If your printer has a build plate larger than 180×180 mm (Bambu Lab A1 mini), this should not cause any issues. Please double-check in your slicer to make sure the scaled model fits your printer’s build volume.

Please note that the snake head with eye slots is designed for the 3D-printed eyes included in the ZIP archive. If you plan to use external glass eyes, you will need to create appropriate slots for them.

You can create eye slots directly in the slicer — there are many helpful tutorials on YouTube explaining how to do this.

Thank you— what size mm eyes fit into the 100% size snake? I am doing the plate of curved snakes (3 on the plate) at 100% size currently.

External glass eyes will not fit into the slots we prepared for the 3D-printed eyes. The reason is that those slots are not flat — they have an internal ridge that prevents proper insertion of glass eyes.

To use glass eyes, you will need to either:

• create your own custom slots, or

• remove the internal ridge from the existing slot geometry.

At 100% scale, the eye diameter is 8 mm.

Indeed, the Labrador Retriever is one of our early models; we developed it back when we were using a slow Ender-3, and the model currently includes challenging areas for printing on modern high-speed printers. We plan to update it to our current standards by the end of January 2026.

For now, it is better to look at our more recent models.

Our Snake #52 has sockets designed for 3D-printed eyes, which are included in the model set. External glass eyes won’t fit there properly because of a small ridge that prevents insertion. You’ll need to create custom slots for glass eyes yourself in the slicer (by adding a negative cylinder). For the 100% scale model, a socket diameter of 8.3 mm works well for 8 mm glass eyes.

You should still have access to the purchased files. There are 2 ways you can download them again:
1) If the site shows that you need to purchase them again – just add the file to your cart, and then the system will "remember" that you’ve already purchased it and let you download it without paying.
2) Or, go to your account on Cults3D → Downloads. In the list of your download history, find the design you need and click the "download" button.

Both options work (we’ve tested them ourselves). But if something suddenly doesn’t go as expected, please write to us on Instagram or by email at happyflexipets@gmail.com

In the photo, the little dragon with the inset eyes is actually our test of how to make slots using negatives for inset eyes in Bambu Lab slicer. The slots were placed a bit crooked and, as far as I remember, a little too deep. That’s why we didn’t include it in the file archive.
