The tx22 FRT is about 5 inches across. What should it be scaled down to?

Double check your slicer as the part is scaled correctly as is. Thickness should be 1.6mm

good morning, i downloaded the taurus brace and the 1913 stock files but when i put them into the slicer the stock is 2044 mm long is this normal?

Change scaling from 100% to 10%, stock should be 244mm long

on the stock why is there a gap on the section that holds into the rail and the body of the stock? will that cause print issue?

Hi. Is your tx22 frt more reliable and cause less wear in the gun than the fft ty22?

Wear is determined by how well rounded the corner that interacts with the slide is as well as polishing that interfacing area. Lubricating before hitting the range will help reduce wear as well. I have a couple hundred rounds through mine & have very minimal wear on my slide.

Is there a certain material that you recommend over others for your design?

I had mine made from 304 stainless, de-burred & polished. Round all corners to minimize wear on the striker insert in the slide.

I'd recommend after purchasing, print one in whatever filament to check fitment before having it produced in metal. The end of the bushing lobe is left oversized, so it can be fitted to the slide & barrel. What firearm are you planning on mounting this on?
