I bought your bridge. What does the little bracket that looks like a car frame do? The bridge sides still need to be glued on right? Wouldn't have it been better to put some sort of peg and slot at the top of the bridge and bottom of the sides. Also the Bambu pre load that comes with it. Messes up your presets in Orca slicer. Do not click on it thinking its prepaid out for your non Bambu printer.

The little bracket allows the bridge to be printed without supports. I could have made pegs or allowed the sides on permanently and printed with supports, but I felt the little frame allows for the best balance between support-less printing and filament waste.

I apologize about the orca presets, it is simply a file->save as from bambu studio. Not sure what may have gone wrong here.

Thanks for the info. I ended up just flipping it on its side and printing it sold so it wouldn't ask about any supports. Yeah the Bambu include makes Orca think you got a Bambu printer and changes all your settings to that. Had to pull up an old project and then just exit without saving to get it to go back to my Elegoo settings.

C.E.D.,
Had a few questions;
For the Stationary Cannons, turret portion.
I like to avoid recreating the wheel as much as I can, so even some suggestions would be great
1) I have a couple of Flashforge printers; an Adventure 5M and an AD5X. I have a variety of nozzle sizes for both (.25-.8), so any recommendations there along with layer height? Solid or Infill?

2) Verifing about the turret portion of the models, I'm thinking of printing on the back flat of the turret with the barrels straight up (I have smooth build plates and textured ones). Hope this is correct for a non-supported printing, or if printed with barrels parallel to the build plate what setting might you recommend in this case.

Hello!

My designs are designed around a standard .4mm nozzle and .2mm layer heights. It should accept lower nozzle and layer sizes, but higher probably won't work well. You'll notice most dimensions in the vertical dimension are multiples of .2mm, so .2, .1, or .05mm layers are preferred, but they are so small that some experimenting shouldn't waste too much filament or time.

The turrets are designed to be printed with the back to the plate, yes. They should print support less, but some brimming might be necessary if you are printing at a higher speed.

Merry Christmas and Happy Printing!

Hey there!

I'm working on printing out the Guild Dropship but the print instructions say that only 4 body pegs are required and references to an assembly guide that isn't present in the download. Do you have an assembly guide doc available?

awesome! Thank you, I'm excited to get this "little" fella on the table in all it's glory :D

I completed the print out and I noticed that where the docking collars are meant to go seem a lot larger than the stl file is. What size should I rescale it to in order to get it to print to fit in the socket there?

Ugh, I keep thinking I've fixed these files and this Always pops up. My apologies, I must not have uploaded the fixed collar. 325% is your magic number! My apologies!!

No worries at all! I'm loving the Guild so far, it's a really well designed kit!

Hello. With the troop transports, where is the wheeled APC? I love their designs.

Hi! Looks like I have the files uploaded incorrectly. I'll get it fixed in the morning! My apologies!

No worries! Thanks for the speedy reply!

Updated the files! Sorry for the delay! Enjoy!

No worries! Thanks!
