Istanbul Big Box – Board Game Organizer / Insert (3D Print STL)

This 3D printable organizer is designed specifically for the Istanbul Big Box edition by AEG. It stores the Base Game and both expansions in a modular layout, allowing players to set up the version they want to play without mixing components. Everything has its own dedicated space.

Design Philosophy
This insert was created with a clean, functional approach. No decorative elements, no unnecessary walls, only practical compartments that serve a clear purpose. The goal is to minimize printing time and filament use, while keeping all components secure and accessible inside the box.

Printing Recommendations
You can fully customize the insert to your needs:

• Choose to print the Large Box with one compartment or two compartments depending on how you store your extras
• You may print five Short Player Boxes or five Tall Player Boxes, or mix both styles
• We suggest printing 3 tall and 2 short player boxes, as this combination interlocks best in the Istanbul Big Box and maximizes space efficiency

Recommended Print Settings (0.4 mm Nozzle)
- Layer Height: 0.24 mm (Draft Quality)
- Infill: 15% (Grid or Gyroid recommended)
- Walls/Perimeters: 2–3
- Supports: Not required
- Material: PLA recommended
- Bed Adhesion: None, or brim if needed
- Orientation: Flat on the base

Notes
This organizer allows you to store the Base Game and expansions in separate modules, so you can set up Istanbul with or without extra content. The trays fit neatly inside the original box and keep pieces from shifting, simplifying setup and cleanup.
