Hello there, I am currently working on your awesome Skiff for my Black Series collection. Everything ( except the surfboard ) printed fine with resin so far and all parts fit perfectly. I only had to split the lower hull parts and the front top body, as they didn´t fit my Anycubic M5s.
Anyway, I have only one question about your used springs for the cargo lift doors as I just cant find any detailed infos about them. How long are they and what diameter do they have ?
I don't have them on hand, but I have a few of the mechanical pencils I got them from left over in the shop. I'll measure them later today and get back to you.
And did you say you are printing it entirely in resin?
Yup, except for the surfboard, these parts are done by a friend with FDM to keep them straight
Yeah, that was the idea with the surfboard, I could print the top detail on it and also use it to overlap the joins on the main hull to strengthen it when glued together. I did add a 4 part version of the surfboard instead of 3 parts a few weeks ago so it would fit on a 250mm printer. It's impressive that you're printing everything else in resin, and from an Anycubic M5s! What resin are you using, and which slicer? I have an M5s and can't seem to get good prints from it. First issue was that it shipped with the wrong build plate, which was warped. Got that replaced, and it's gotten better, but I can't seem to get it dialed in with Lychee slicer. I have an Anycubic Photon Mono X 6K which prints anything I throw at it, and a Saturn 4 Ultra 16K which I got dialed in recently, but I just can't seem to get good prints with the M5s.
Nothing special I use, I slice with AC´s workshop and use AC´s ABS-like resin. Right now, at this very moment when I am writing this, I have the stand coming out done with AC´s standart clear resin. I am printing since about 2 years now, and never really had any problems ( except for a few beginner-issues )
Yeah, that's the same resin I use for my anycubic printers, and I get great prints with the Photon Mono X, but trying to print the same model with the same supports and the same resin on the M5s fails like 60% of the time.
So the springs are 14mm long and 3mm in diameter.

Hmm, this was designed for a printer almost twice as large as that, but the surfboard can be cut into multiple parts. I originally wanted the overlap between the 3 parts of the hull and the 2 parts of the surfboard to collectively add to the stability of the hull, but I don't think that is necessary, as the hull is pretty dang solid when assembled. I can split the surfboard into 5 parts so they fit on a 220x220 bed, but I won't be able to get to it until later in the week or this weekend.

You are thinking of Jabba's Sail barge. The Skiff is the smaller ship and it does not have sails.
