3D 模型描述
Bring instant “action scene” energy to your displays with this 45° explosion smoke effect designed for Gunpla / mecha model kit dioramas, tabletop scenes, and dynamic photography setups.
This model features a ground burst smoke base with a rising plume angled at ~45 degrees, finishing in a dramatic cloud “cap,” plus embedded debris chunks for extra impact. It’s great for recreating:
• explosions / ground impacts
• rocket or thruster blasts
• cinematic “hit” moments
• battlefield smoke effects for tabletop and display bases
Scale note: The file is provided at a default scale that matches the photos shown next to a 1:100 (MG) model kit. You can easily scale it up/down to fit other scales (HG 1:144, 1:60, etc.) in any slicer.
Limitations / notes:
• This is a decorative display prop (not a functional safety item).
3D 打印设置
Recommended printing method
Works on both FDM and resin printers.
Resin = best detail + smoother smoke texture
FDM = great for larger scale prints and quick diorama builds
FDM suggestions (PLA / PETG)
Nozzle: 0.4 mm (0.6 mm if scaling up large)
Layer height: 0.16–0.20 mm (0.12 mm for extra smooth curves)
Walls/perimeters: 2–3
Infill: 10–15% (Gyroid or Grid is fine)
Supports: Yes (recommended)
Tree/Organic supports work especially well for rounded smoke forms
Support overhang angle: ~50–55° as a starting point
Orientation:
Start with the flat base on the build plate
If your slicer allows, rotate slightly to reduce deep “underside” support scarring on the most visible areas
Resin suggestions
Layer height: 0.05 mm (0.03 mm if you want ultra smooth)
Supports: Yes
Medium supports for the underside “hangs”
Add extra supports under the upper cloud cap for stability
Post: wash + fully cure before sanding/priming
Scaling guidance (quick + reliable)
Default file scale: intended to match 1:100 (MG) as shown in the reference photo.
To match other common scales (starting point):
1:144 (HG/RG) ≈ scale to 69% (because 100 ÷ 144 ≈ 0.694)
1:60 ≈ scale to 167% (because 100 ÷ 60 ≈ 1.667)
Because kits and poses vary, the best method is:
Decide how “big” you want the blast relative to the scene (small impact vs. massive explosion).
In your slicer, check the model’s overall height/length.
Scale uniformly until it visually fits your display base / figure pose.
Finishing / painting ideas (optional but nice to include)
Print in translucent filament/resin for a great “energy/smoke” look.
Prime + paint with a gradient:
darker smoke outside
bright “heat glow” in the center (orange/yellow)
Dry-brush highlights on the raised smoke bubbles for extra depth.
Safety / compliance note
Decorative use only.
