This model has been requested a lot since the Gingerbread Train came out! Well here it is tonight, finally! The caboose to go to the end of the train is now available!
It won't take too long to explain the project to you, because it's exactly the same process as all the cars from the gingerbread train.
In fact, the steps are so similar that I didn't make any instructions for this part. The caboose is very similar to the wagon, so you just have to consult the small pdf file that I made in the "instructions" folder and rely mainly on the instructions for the wagon! Very simple!
Quick note: The top section (the beige extension on the roof) is printed with supports. The outline of the windows has a shape that unfortunately requires some supports, but nothing too complex. So for the beige part located above the long red roof, simply add tree supports at the window openings.
The rest should print without any problem and without supports like it was for the wagon.
I obviously made a project file (BambuLab project) for the caboose. As I mentioned recently, the color changes are already programmed by layer height (and not painted), so you have to slice the plate to see the color changes applied.
Last detail: I will make a French version as I usually do for the sign on the side of the caboose. It's in process, I haven't had the time unfortunately to incorporate it into the project yet.I will make an update on this post once the French sign is added!
Well there you go! I think I have covered everything that needed to be said!
If you have any questions about the project, do not hesitate to let me know in a private message! I will be happy to answer you as soon as possible!
The new files for the caboose are in the original zip file in the gingerbread train post.
Have fun my friends!!! Keep printing!
