Wallypower 118 - 3D Printable RC Super Yacht
This model is a 3D-printable RC version of the iconic Wallypower 118, one of the most recognizable and radical super yachts ever designed.
The goal of this project was to capture the very distinctive silhouette and proportions of the original yacht, while making a model that is realistically buildable, printable, and usable as an RC boat.
This is not a simple visual model:
it was designed from the start as a functional RC platform, adapted to standard 3D printers and real-world assembly constraints.
The hull and superstructure were fully modeled in Fusion 360, with a strong focus on:
- clean surfaces and smooth curves
- correct proportions and aggressive stance
- practical internal volume for RC components
The final assembled model stands at approximately 65 cm, offering an excellent balance between presence, detail, and usability.
Design approach
The model is split into multiple sections, allowing it to be printed on standard 220 × 220 mm FDM printers.
Each section is designed to align cleanly during assembly, making the build approachable while keeping the final shape accurate and rigid.
The result is a yacht that looks impressive on display, but is also perfectly suited for:
- RC builds
- custom propulsion setups
- personal modifications
What you get:
- STL files ready for 3D printing
- STEP files included (main focus), allowing you to modify geometry, adapt internal layouts or customize the model to your own RC setup
This makes the model ideal both for plug-and-play builders and for advanced users who want full control.
Current state of the model:
The model is considered final and fully usable in its current form.
If small refinements or optional parts are added in the future, they will be shared as updates.
3D printing notes:
- Designed for FDM printing
- Sectioning optimized for common printer sizes
- Print orientation and supports may vary depending on your printer and chosen materials
For best results:
- print slowly for smooth surfaces
- use strong wall/perimeter settings for rigidity
- take care during assembly to preserve alignment
- seal or reinforce the hull if you plan to run it on water
License / usage:
For personal use and personal printing.
You are free to modify the files for your own projects.
Please do not reupload or resell the files.
