hey i purchased a couple files recently, 1 of them was the farm produce, but only apples pears basket and crates are in the files, but your page shows veggies but their are none in the files. so where or how do i get the vegetables?

Hi ScaleHQ, I’m interested in agricultural equipment – historical farming tools. I’d like to print these in 1:87 scale, but I don’t know anyone with a 3D printer. Hence my question: are these parts still printable in 1:87 scale, and what sort of 3D printer would you recommend for such a challenging project? I’m active in the model railway world and am currently looking to get an entry-level printer, but it should be capable of handling something like this. What would you recommend? Thanks for your tips and the great models. Chris

Hello, thanks for reaching out. Sadly I dont think its printable in 1/87, even for 1/35 it has a lot of thin parts. As for beginner printers I would recommend Anycubic Photon Mono series, they are fairly cheap and reliable. Best regards, Honza from ScaleHQ

Hello. I am very impressed with your 1/35th road roller and am enquiring if you have it available as a traditional steam design rather than the interwar diesel conversion? Also if you have any plans on doing a traditional traction engine type front rather than the road roller drum wheel?

Hello, thanks for reaching out, technically yes, for example the 1/87 cars print nicely when scaled up, but I would not recommend printing them on FDM printer without scaling.

können die Dateien der VW T3 Bausätze noch bearbeitet werden um dort die charakteristischen Sicken auf dem Dach zu ergänzen? Oder sind sie lediglich zum Druck geeignet? Evtl. eine blöde Frage, aber ich bin noch Anfänger beim 3D-Druck. ;-)

The original T3 roof is not flat. There are beads across the roof. You did this at the high top, but it's the same with the normal roof.

Hello! One question about your Land Rover D90 H0 scale. Is it possible to print it in FDM, or in that size it would be impossible? And twice the size? It's for a friend's gift so the size doesn't matter... Thanks!1!

Hello, thanks for reaching out. In 1/87 its challenging to print it well on FDM printer, although I´m sure it would be possible to some extend. If you want to print it on an FDM printed I´d recommend scaling it to at least 1/43 or preferably 1/24. Then it becomes big enough for printing. You may still struggle with the wheel pattern, but other than that its good. You should find the scaling chart in the folder or there are web pages for calculating precise scale factors for converting from one scale to another.

Hello, I am not sure what kit you are refering to, but generally yes, loss of detail happens usually when scaling down from bigger to smaller scales where the printer isn’t capable of printing details so fine. All my 1:35 packs are well scaleable to 1:24

All the files are specifically designed for a resin printer and optimized for printing.

When a model on my page consists of more then one piece I make sure to include an exploded view of the assembly so that everyone knows what they are buying.
