Hi, i got your laughing horse in barn stl and im afraid it will be very heavy. You note that it might need some light supports, what is the best way to go about it? Should i hollow it or just fully support it?

Hi, i got your laughing horse in barn stl and im afraid it will be very heavy. You note that it might need some light supports, what is the best way to go about it? Should i hollow it or just fully support it?
Hi Willem. I use a resin printer, and hollow everything. And I add supports in a slicing program similar to Lychee. I have no experience with filament printers. If you print it solid it would indeed be heavy, and would need extensive supports. And use a lot of resin or filament. I’m sorry but I don’t have great technical knowledge of these things, my skill lies in the design. Perhaps a printing forum could offer advice.
I offer full refund if you’re not satisfied.
Good luck!
I want to download the buzzard to do the same thing another user did and print it at 400% like @jmchandler_99 did, exactly the same without the base or the tree. Could you do it like that and cut it for printing? I have no idea... I'm just going to take it somewhere and they'll print it for me. The idea is to cut it at the flat head (I don't know if it's hollow) and put a motor in it so it moves the head in both directions. Thanks.
Hi, yes I can remove the base and tree. Send me your email….i’m at steve.r.sack@gmail.com. I’ll get to that this afternoon and send you the file.
Thanks, My mail is venderfry@hotmail.com
The modified vulture has been emailed. Let me know if it does not arrive. Best wishes with it!
Does your Bigfoot Sasquatch Yeti print in color (yes, I have an AMS) or would I need to paint him??
They need to be painted, yes.
Hi Jeff,
I’m traveling today so won’t be able to look at your question till tonight. I’ll be in touch.
Steve
P.s. I looked at your website…. I think I’d like your music
I sent you an email.
Do you do custom work? I'm looking to make a hood ornament for my truck. If you were able to embed a 3/16 bolt in the base, that would be awesome, otherwise I can just glue his ass down. My logo is a Sasquatch wearing bib overalls, sunglasses, and a fedora. How difficult would it be to put Bibs, a hat and sunglasses on this Bigfoot? What would you charge me for this, and can you print it at about 5inches?
My Logo
Does your deep sea angler fish need supports and can it be printed with pla? Sorry, noob here with an Ender 3 3v KE from Christmas, lol.
Hello Blackburn, thank you for your interest in my design. I use a resin printer and have no experience with a filament printer. Some of my designs have been printed on filament printers and seem to work out fine, but again I have no personal expertise. I do not include supports with my designs, I use the slicer that came with my printer. There are some slicers out there that can be used for free. Again, I have no experience with those. As you can see, I’m still learning too.
Did you make a Female version.. I'd like the pair
do you have a female Yeti?.. I'd love to have the pair!
Hi. I have a free cow head here:
https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/home/laughing-cow-refrigerator-magnet-or-plaque-sack3d
I love your 3d cow. I am just a new user of 3d printing, so please bare with me if I ask a stupid question.
Do you have this adorable cow with the head only?
HI
Can you make your overlook camper a wife version. I'm going to put them in my kitchen and would be cool to have another version
Awesome! Thank you.
Your Buzzard is in my front yard for all to see!!!
People love it!!!
That’s so cool! I love it! How big is it?
Would be nice to see that in THE cults Makes section
I printed it at 400%
From the top of his beak, to the tip of his tail is 20"
I put it in the Cults Make section. I hope that I did it right.
Hi! Glad you liked my silly satyr. I have some new ones coming once I find time to take some photos.
Thanks for your interest!
I'm looking forward to seeing them.
Hi again.
I bought your Satyr.. He is really funny.
Do you have any new stuff coming soon?
Hello friend. I have a problem with
Little Devil Demon
there is some kind of fragment left under the model. Therefore the real model is flying about 35mm in the air. I want to print it in resin and my slicer is not able to set the model down. So my slicewr will print about 35mm of support, wich would be a waste of money^^ can you pleas repair it?
Hey ARIAKUS321, I re-set the model and new version is available. My resin slicer automatically sets the model. I confess I’m not up on such technical matters….I’ve had no trouble setting up supports with my Prusa slicer. I hope this solves the issue, and apologize for the hassle. Happy to refund if we can’t get a successful print. If there’s any more I can do please let me know.
Thanks a lot for the fast work. Slicing looks good now. I will try a print asap :-)
Wonderful! Thank you kindly.
Wonderful! Thank you kindly.
Hello MOMALOY, yes, you are welcome to sell completed prints. I encourage it, if fact! I like my critters out in the world.
As for longhorn i’m not sure what you’re asking. If you want to modify it yourself I suppose you could lengthen the horns, but i’d have designed it differently if making a longhorn. Not sure how it’ll look. Normally I don't like my designs changed but if it's just the horns that’s up to you.
Btw I do have plans to make a longhorn steer in the future along with a cowboy, but not sure when I’ll get to it. I have a long list of future projects.
Thank you for your interest in my work.
I do not have the talent to modify the cow into a steer! I am following you on Cults and MMF so will keep an eye out for new models and will be sure to snatch up the longhorn and cowboy (I am in Texas! LOL) whenever you offer it. Appreciate that you allow for the sales of completed models, without a subscription/patreon.
Are we allowed to sell printed/completed models? Cute designs. Wondering if I could add a longhorn steer similar style as the cow?
Hi again.
I bought your Moose...I love it.
I was wondering if you could make a "Cute Billy Goat" someday...
Thanks for sharing your work.
Hi, glad you like your moose! No plans for a billygoat at the moment but I do have a bighorn sheep on my drawing board. I’m not sure when I’ll get to it. Thanks for your support!
Cool. A bighorn sheep sounds awesome. I'm real excited about the Buzzard. I almost asked you if you had one.
I've been looking for one like it for years. I bought it already..lol.
I'm so sorry, I didn't see the files fell off while uploading. I resubmitted the posting. Apologies for the inconvenience.
No Problem at all. Thanks for the response and for fixing it. I'm excited to see what else you have...
Hi. I bought your Bigfoot, But it will only let me download the BaseBIGFOOT(2).stl.
There is no Zip/Rar file and only this one stl file.
Hi. I just bought your cow and Pterosaur.
I love wymsical critters.
Have you considered doing some cute horses?
Maybe something like these: https://ibb.co/YR8vsL7.
I plan on buying the mosquito later.
Thanks.
Hello JM, thank you for buying my sculpts. I’m just starting out so truly appreciate the boost. Yes, i have a horse sculpt planned, not sure how soon. Actually i have 15 other files completed that I just haven't had time to post on Cults. I’m trying to set up a Patreon to distribute my models, which is taking up my time. Thanks again for your suggestion, and purchase. Let me know how they turn out, or can be improved.——-Steve
P.s . Yes, that’s a cute horse image you linked to. I base my sculpts on my own designs, but that’s my basic vibe.
Cool. Let me know when you get your Patreon started...
Hi Steve,
Since you asked, there is one suggestion that I would make.
I really like your wymsical style.
There is absolutely
nothing wrong with your sculpts.
They are cool and very cute.
I am a patreon of Uel Winner. I don't know if you are
familiar with his models. He also sells on CGTrader.
He splits his models into parts (not straight cuts, but
keyed to fit) and it is possible to make larger models,
(for gardens for example).
It would be great if you considered doing the same thing
with your sculpts.
Of course, it is a matter of preference, but, it could be
a good seller to people who are just considering buying
your models and could push them over the edge.
Though I'm sure that it will be more work for you.
Just something to consider from someone (like me...lol)
who has particular taste...
I hope that I'm not offending you.
I'm no expert and I envy your talent.
Good luck with your patreon and I
Hope to see it soon.
Hi again, and thanks for your interest. I decided to hold off on a Patreon until I've assembled a larger body of work. I'll be uploading some new stuff soon. I'll definitely let you know if and when I start a Patreon.
Regarding splitting my models, I've just begun to learn how to do that and will do it when it seems appropriate. I have some complicated ones coming that will require multiple sections. I thought I'd put up the simple stuff first. I do appreciate all suggestions.
Finally, thank you for your kind words!
Hello, I would like to know the dimensions because I would like to print it using a 3D printer. Thank you.
