Hello, I’d like to ask if you have any plans to make tracks for 9m317 or the tor M2/sa15?
Hello 😌 Yes, I have some plans for it, and for some other Soviet Cold War vehicles
you are my god you are so fast to make it
Your`e welcome)
Hi, thanks for your super detailed track links for the T-90, also great shape when scaled to 1:6.
Unfortunately the bore diameter for the pins differ between the three parts, 5,2 for the connector, 5,4 for the mid horn and 6,2 for the half track.
Can you make a customized version? 3,9 for the connector and mid horn, 4,0 for the half track ?
Hi. Thank you for download the model. Regarding the different diameters, it was designed that way, because during the printing tests it was the best result.
I will be happy to make a custom one with any wishes.
What diameter of the pin do you want then, or will metal be used?
After all the changes, please provide an email address where to send the file.
Have a nice day))
Hi, I would like to do some strength tests with different filaments and want to use a 4mm metal pin, would be happy to receive a version in scale 1:6 and following diameters : 3,9 for the connector and mid horn, 4,0 for the half track.

Hello Fortuna! My friend needs the T-34 track for mod.1940 and mod.1941. Maybe is it the early type 550mm track? I can't find any design about it. So could you consider make it ? Thanks~
Hi :)
The first serial production T-34s of 1940-1941 had 550mm tracks derived from the A-34 and A-20 prototypes. Only at the end of 1941 did mass production of 500mm waffle tracks begin.
It have a different geometry and cannot be linked to the tracks of the first series. Since I have all the necessary information, I will make it, both variants.
About gun with circle round muzzle.
I spent few days study photos every modification t-72/80/90. It can be only 2A46M. All next mods have cut on top in front. Be sure. One aber kit cannot serve as proof and reference.
Hi~ About the track, thank you for your work, and I'll wait for your tracks.
About the gun, I think it's also maybe 2A46M for T-72 and T-90, just as you said. But I don't find the pictures for cut on top in front~ Maybe it only has the fewer clamps on the heat shield like 2A46M-1, but the gun is still the 2A46M. If you have some details or pictures, please let me know. My email is Lincherliu@hotmail, thank you!
Hello Fortuna!I printed all of your 2A46 barrels, and they are great~ Thanks for your design~. I still have a small question, which one is suitable for T-72A/B(not T72B2/3, that is 2A46M-5)? The plastic kit barrel looks like the 2A46M-1, so maybe you can check it. Thanks.
Hi, I am very pleased, thank you.
Visually distinguishing all modifications is very difficult, since the main changes are either structural or related to the gun’s mounting and internal components located inside the turret.
Early T-72 tanks were equipped with the 2A46M, which has a characteristic simple, straight muzzle. They almost always had a heat shield consisting of four separate segments, each secured with two clamps.
The T-80 was fitted with the 2A46M-1. The most noticeable visual difference is the new muzzle profile and fewer clamps on the heat shield. Very often the it was not installed at all. In some cases, the heat shield was mounted only on the portion of the barrel forward of the ejector.
2A46M-2 same but for T-72/90 (I guess)
The 2A46M-4/5 (late T-72, T-90) variants are frequently confused with earlier models, since the barrel itself remains essentially the same. The only visible change is the addition of a mounting point for the electronic MRS (Muzzle Reference System). Because of this, when a heat shield is installed it is rotated to the side, the fourth segment of the shield are shorter.
As for the T-64, early versions used the standard 2A46, while later variants (T-64BV) were equipped with the 2A46-1, which is effectively identical to the 2A46M.
Thank you for your answers~ Wiki tells me that 2A46M-2 is used for T-80um-2, and there is the only one which was lost at this war. The AH kit T-80UM-2 has the same barrel with the T-80U(2A46M-1). Maybe I can use the 2A46M-1 for T-72 because there is no equipment details. So which barrel will you make next? 2A46M4/5? Maybe I can use it for my T72B2/B3 and T-90MS(2A46M5). and T-80BVM(2A46M4). If you have more details about it, please let me know~ Many thank again for you and your design!
As far as I managed to delve into this topic, I can say T-80UM is the only t-80 which have 2A46M4. And yes, I`ll make it.
Last model (M-1) already have fit with Meng T-72B3, but better wait for correct (M-5)
For T72A/AV/B/BV ordinary 2A46M is right one
Also 2A46M-4/5 will be in one set
Plastic kits often simplify everything that concerns minor changes. For the manufacturer it is just a 125 mm gun, without any restrictions on modifications. The same goes for aircraft models, there is a lot that is missed.
Yeah, maybe you are right~ T72/90 maybe the 2A46M2, a little different from with the M-1, just at Muzzle(the whole cycle from the front, no gap at top just like M-1). Maybe you can check it refer to the aber metal one and the picture of the real tanks~ Maybe you can make a small modify and update the files~
Without a photo reference where the details will be clearly visible, it is hard to make changes.
But if you wish, I can add the file without top cutting the barrel in the end
here is the reference for abel https://www.super-hobby.com/products/125mm-2A46M-2-Barrell-for-Russian-main-battle-tank-T-72B1-T-80B-T-80BV-T-80BVD-T-90-Trumpeter-Zvezda-mode-b.html And some T-72(A/AV or B)'s picture is the cycle muzzle here is the reference https://www.inetres.com/gp/military/cv/tank/T-72.html Maybe it helps~ :-)
It nice info, thank you) Probably I make update with release M-4/5 mod
Ok, I'll wait for it~

Hello there ^_^ keep up the good work!
Could you produce tracks for the Russian 2S3 self-propelled gun? The track detail on the Trumpeter kit is very poor.
Hello Hipan, yes, these tracks are already in the development, I will post it soon.
