US Navy destroyer USS Spruance

This is a model of the former USS Spruance, the lead ship of the Spruance class destroyers.

It´s scaled to 1:350 in the .3mf and its lenght is about 50 cm including base plate / socket.

STL files are at 1:1 scale

Important: You can print the hull with 0.2mm layer hight, but you have to print the superstructure and masts with max. 0.16mm high quality. Otherwise the mast structures and details wouldnt work out.

Filaments used:

Light grey = Geeetech grey PETG

Dark grey = Sunlu grey PETG

Black = Sunlu black PETG

Red = Sunlu red PETG

White = Sunlu white PETG

Wood Socket = Creality CR-Wood PLA

Gold = Eryone Gold/Black 2 color PLA

(the picture showing 2 ships is a comparasion between an actual model kit of an Arleigh Burke in comparasion to the 3D printed Spruance)

3D printing, 0.16mm layer hight recommended when printing everything but the socket and hull parts. The .3mf is set up for multicolor printing with bambus AMS or similar.
Make sure to use tree support with every part.
Install support blockers inside of the masts if you are not using my .3mf
