Your fj40 what frame and cage is that?

depends which of my fj40s your refering to, the red one has a leaf spring converted scx 10 chassis and a hand-made cage, the blue one is on a mst cfx-w chassis with a modified axial deadbolt cage

The tan one you have the pictures for inner fenders.

ah yes that is the same as the blue but before i had painted it, -mst cfx-w chassis with a modified axial deadbolt cage

Hola!!

Hi could you tell me what the wheelbase is for the first timer suzuki sierra body that you have uploaded? I know it can be resized but I would like to know what it is by default. thanks

sorry for the slow response, i believe the standard wheelbase is around 242mm but could be stretched out 10-20mm if your triming the front bumper

had a question about the discovery 2 arb bumper, what material did you print it in? and did you paint/coat it? if so with what exactly?

the one shown in my display photo was printed with black pla filament and then sanded completely smooth, then clear coated with enamel clear

The engine crane lift cylinder (jack) file is not correct or I’m missing something

the section which would be the metal hydraulic ram section is not included as a printable file as the material isnt fit for purpose (this ram rod carries all the weight of whatever is hanging from the hook) Id highly recommend fabricating a simple cylinder from a material without horizontal print layers (eg the body of a pen or styrene rod)

Do you happen to have inner fenders for the rc4wd Hero?

no sorry, and i no longer have one to prototype from

for the 4runner engine bay and core support. is it needed to cut the original core support out of the body?

correct if you want to have the open style look shown in my pictures, there may be a way to install it without cutting out the original but im not sure how good it would look

CEN F450 Wrecker / towtruck kit

Is there a way this can be used on a scx10 frame?

you can absolutley have a go , its likley a few modifications or adaptor brackets may be required if you are committed to this style, also i do have a "universal Wrecker bed" design available that was actually modelled on an axial scx10.2

sorry to mount this to a chassis is different for every body/chassis/stance combination so a universal mount isnt possible. to design one i need to know;
1.chassis end profile and measurement to the first bend and mounting hole
2.grille height from the underside of the body to the top of the frame rail
3.forward offset from end of chassis rails to where the back of the bullbar is (face with mounting holes)

if you can provide all these dimensions , id be happy to design one to suit

I've ordered WPL C74 Jimny Sierra fender flares. But why can't I download the file? When I try to download it, it says: "You are not authorized to perform this action."
Can I request a refund?

Hi , that sounds like an administrative error, please contact cults3d customer support and they should be able to rectify that issue for you

where can i print the towing bed for the truck

As always I recommend for people to either make the investment of a printer for themself or to seek out others Nearby and collaborate with them to get it printed . This saves on shipping and helps build community

I see that u made a cen f450 wheels. I am looking for some to design. the forgiato twisted maglia in a 1/10 30inch. I believe that is a 3.0 wheel. I was wondering if you are able to do that for me and how much?

Would you be looking for a particular offset? Or would you rather the standard cen wheel geometry so that it can be used as a front, rear or dually

Do you have any wrecker beds that will fit the extra cab?

the design i have suits single cab , extra cab and dual cab . minor wheel base adjustments may be required to suit

hey mate, was just wondering if your RC comp tray back file would be able to be downscaled to around 1:24 / 1:20 without any problems?

ive seen it scaled down to 1:18 before without much trouble. the only thing is how it is designed for m3 hardware in the first place, if you scale it down it will require smaller screws or glue to assemble it. it be keen to see photos if you do try at that scale

Thank you we will give it a go

What axles are you running on your extracab to tuck the wheels?

factory rc4wd yota/yota 2 axels with a custom wheel with less offset for a narrower stance

Hello, does this come with the orange/printable glass for the light buckets on each side of the lettering like in the actual pictures you have on this listing?

no sorry, i could make a design for this but ive found most people use clean or lightly-tinted lexan in those areas so they can place a led light behind that can shine through, if not they cut and paint a basic flat sheet as i have in the photos

Hello, what's the best way to orient the alcoa wheels for the best print? Do you recommend any specific settings?

i would recommend the outside face of the wheel pointed up for the cleanest look , 100% infill

ok cool thank you i will try it out. I did print a test print last night and I noticed on the inner part of the wheel there is small hump that runs around the rim. Is this normal or is there a way to fix this in the print process instead of sanding it out?

there is a shape designed into the wheel for strength and to match the real thing, please check against the photos in the ad to see if the hump you are refering to is on mine, if not it may be a printing glitch etc

no your right after I looked at it I realized it was just like the original. all good. thank you

do you do any sanding on your prints to clean them up? your prints look really on the pictures. I have tried a few different settings but I can't get them to look too good on the inner rim for the dually. I can get a good print on front though.

depending on a how fast i print, printer settings, the humidity during printing and the type of filament , sometimes sanding is not really neccissary but quite often i find i have to do some small surface work to prepare for paint

is the inner fender well included? if not what did you do for it?

never mind i scrolled down.

would you happen to have a file for the hubs on the CEN 450 alcoa wheels?

No I do not, the file is available online however I would recommend purchasing the injection moulded stock hubs for the kg1 series cen f450 (the dl series is a different bolt pattern)

Ok, thanks.

buyerup
problem is the bolt pattern
needs to be at 90% but then it shrinks wheel too small and theyre skinny as well already

if you could accurately measure the wheel bolt pattern il gladly make a second file to suit the "dl" trucks

its the stock cen size man i tried to find ya on insta so i didnt have to comment here hate public conversation somethings definetly wrong i verified my end so i messaged here

As I've stated, there are 2 different wheel bolt patterns for cenf450's depending on which version you have, there are two options to solve this , if you can supply me with dimensions of your truck which must be a 'dl' series so I can make a second version, or you can buy the hex hubs from from the kg1 series and fit the design I have

you are totally correct i just checked my other wheels they are same i was wrong but i dont have center caps do u happen to have a file you could sell me i managed to get a file for kg1 hubs im printing

id like to have a set of alcoas that fit my factory size i have a caliper if u want to message me on intsa i will forward the measurements to u

On your cen 450 wrecker bed, would it work with a 5th wheel hitch rather than the wrecker boom?

you absolutley could, just do not install the boom and then mount the 5th wheel in the centre , please send photos once you have to facebook.com/rapidreplications please as id love to see how it turns out

I absolutely will!

Hello! Is there a way to get the inner fenders for the 4runner engine bay? I haven't bought the file yet. But don't see them on the list and seen someone else asking about them. Juat want to make sure I get it all. Thank you!

sorry, the inner fenders on that model i made by hand and havnt had time to make a 3d printable model file as of yet

Hey,
I'm hoping that I can buy this "fender mount air box for 1:10 40 series land cruiser" printed as I do not have a printer. Looking forward to hearing what options I may have.
Thx!

sorry i no longer offer printing services due to several reasons. i would suggest one of 2 options : 1 invest in a relativley inexpensive printer which will pay itself off over time. or 2: network with locals members of the hobby and see if one will print it for you. this builds community and saves on postage around the world

Hello! On the wrecker bed, are there more specific instructions? Like how many parts of each file, print settings and filament to use?

hi, it is a single of every part plus a second outrigger , as for print settings and filaments, that is more dependant on your specific printer and what you a confident with. any rigid filament has the ability to function due to the geometry in the designs, but if you are planning to tow very heavy vehicles you may want to select a more reinforced filament. there are additional photos at facebook.com/rapidreplications if you need them
