About the werewolf: now that you mention it, we forgot to update the promotional image. We actually removed the tail because it didn't fit properly in the Monster Mountain with the tail on.

I think I still have the tailed version saved , if you want, I can send it to you.

Thanks for your message. I’d like to take a closer look at what might be happening.

The Monster Mountain was designed specifically for my figures, which are about 30 mm tall at 100% scale. The slots on the mountain are 40mm wide, so the figures should actually have extra room and fit without any issue when everything is printed at the correct scale.

I’ve tested the files on my end and the figures fit properly, so it’s possible that some scaling or unit setting may have changed during slicing.

Could you please send me:

A photo of the printed section where the figures don’t fit

A screenshot of the scale settings for both the mountain and the figures in your slicer

With that information, I’ll be able to see exactly what happened and help you fix it right away.

Thanks a lot for your explanation — that actually helps.

I have the original Monster in My Pocket figures from around 1990, and those are the ones that don’t fit the slots.
Now I understand why this happened.

For the original figures, I would of course need to scale the model up.
I could set the scale to 150% on my side, so the slots become about 60 x 60 mm. It will be a 2 kg PLA Project :-(

How would you like to proceed?
Should I just do the 150% scaling myself, or would you consider releasing a dedicated version for the original vintage monsters?

I’ll still send you photos/screenshots by email — then we can probably laugh about the mix-up together 😄

Now that you pointed it out, I realized what happened. I designed the mountain around our own figures, which are about 30 mm tall, while the original Monster in My Pocket figures are closer to 50 mm. The initial idea of the project was for the vintage figures, but we ended up building it based on our scale, and that difference slipped through on our side.

So you were absolutely right to expect the original figures to fit, especially since the mountain was presented for classic collectors.

What I’m going to do now is readjust the scale of the model so it properly fits the original vintage figures. I’ll prepare a dedicated version sized specifically for them, so you won’t have to worry about scaling it yourself.

Thanks for pointing this out. It helped catch something that we should have accounted for from the start, and I’ll make sure you get a proper solution.

150% scale is not possible on my printer, because it no longer fits on the build plate.

At 145%, it almost fits, but the print would still take almost 4 days and require around 4200 g of PLA. :-D

Thanks to the information you sent, we were able to identify the issue and we’re already working on the correction. As soon as we have the updated version ready, I’ll let you know right away.

Even though the current mountain was built around our own figures, the original idea of the project was always for true Monster in My Pocket fans to be able to display their vintage figures on it. Since that detail slipped on our side, I really appreciate you pointing it out.

Thanks to your help again, we were able to spot a bigger issue that would have affected many of the collectors this project was originally meant for. Because of that, we’ve paused the public release until we fix that detail properly.
We’re already working on the corrected version, and as soon as it’s ready, I’ll get back in touch with you.

That figure was one of the very first ones we made when we were just starting, and details like that sometimes slipped through.
As soon as we noticed the tail issue, we took the chance to fully update the model: the tail is now properly centered, and we also improved the sculpt with better details overall. The corrected and improved version is already done.

Hola, gracias por tu comentario. Estos modelos forman parte de nuestras primeras remasterizaciones, cuando recién arrancábamos con la colección.
Desde entonces seguimos mejorando muchísimo la calidad, aprendiendo y ajustando detalles en cada nueva wave.
La idea siempre fue hacer nuestras propias versiones de las figuras que nos apasionan, con todo el esfuerzo y dedicación posible.
