Hi, I'm Stephen.

I'm an engineer and designer. I was trained in aerospace engineering and found a love for CAD during my time working on Eurofighters.

I originally got into 3D printing to make parts for FPV drones, but since then have found many more projects.

I like designing functional products that people find useful.

Hi,

You have to create a filament change before the logo starts. This is easy in most slicers. On Bambu Labs, it’s on the page where you review the sliced model. There is a bar on the right to select layer height, and it has a plus icon.

Hi! Do you have fixed version of this cup holder as this has slits in both cups bottom? Other side has significant seam that isn't structually sound.

Hi Albert,

Not sure why your seeing issues, the discs are meant to be printed separately. The seam is an unfortunate feature of 3d printing, some people hide it with textures, or there are slicer settings to try and hide seams with mixed results.

What slicer are you using?

Hi,

The “normal seat insert” fits VW with a plastic surrounding mount.

The “short insert” is the correct length for the metal surrounding mounts usually in earlier versions of the transporters and the “Dagues insert” is a “short insert” but a little wider, I believe this will fit more snuggly in the metal surrounding mounts but I can’t confirm myself.

Bonjour, après la conception de la pièce grâce au fichier téléchargé, celle ci ne convient pas elle est trop grande, auriez vous la possibilité de modifier le fichier ou de m’envoyer le fichier afin de le modifier moi-même.

Hi, I've added a shorter size. I think this will help, it fits the older style VWs with metal around the brackets. Hope this helps

Good afternoon.
After buying the file https://cults3d.com/es/modelo-3d/artilugios/vw-t5-t6-seat-bracket-insert-seat-mount-blank-floor-bracket-cover, I have tried to print it several times using different laminators (Cura and PrusaSlicer) and it has been impossible. I have no problem in that the laminator generates the gcode but when I give it to print (I have Ender 3 S1 with Creality Sonic Pad), the file is blocked and the printer does nothing. I hope you can help me to print it.

Really sorry to hear that.

I have printed this file on a Ender Pro 3 in the past so this is a little confusing to me.

I have uploaded a new STL. Can you download the V2 file and let me know if you have any issues?

Hi,

I tried to print the model again (v2) but it still doesn't work. I was checking my printer with other models (running different .stl with Cura/PrusaSlicer and generating the .gcode) and my printer works perfectly... Can you try to generate the gcode and check it in your printer? I don't know what the problem is...

Finally it worked. I had to use Blender in order to process the .obj again, but I could print it.
