Hi, the price you see it's already discounted by 70%. On november 2nd, the price will return to 179€. I recommend purchasing it at the current price before the discount expires. Don't miss out.

Hey boss, thank you very much for this, I have one more question about the pedestal, was it designed contain the Arduino or was it designed like the FCU?

You are welcome any time. My panels aren't designed to accommodate the Arduino inside them but as you have seen, it is no problem for me to design any modification needed. Lets keep in touch.

Hi, I've updated the download link and now it include a ZIP file with the additional kit you already downloaded and modified cases that can now have the option to install the Arduino Mega inside them. Download it and give it a try. :)

Hi, thanks for the update!

Hi, I've uploaded the pedestal cases you wanted which are now compatible with Arduino Mega. You will now have two cases one above each other. The upper ones are the regular cases modified to their bottom clones which are the exact cases shell but suitable for installation of Arduino Mega.
You can download this modification for free from this secret link: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/a320-pedestal-arduino-cases-ca5c3703b06ddaaefc46
This link will be available for few days only so download it as soon as possible.
Try it out and tell me what you think. :)
BTW, for the MCDU I recommend you to buy and use this ready to use, "plug and play" PCB: https://www.ebay.com/itm/256697750486
It is 100% compatible with my 3D MCDU model.

Cheers,
Ran.

Hi, thanks for the update. I can’t buy the pcb because I live in Turkey and anything above 30$ gets taxed and it would cost me around 350$ to get the pcb, thanks anyway have a good day

Hi, I couldn't find the lcd mentioned in the manual for the MCDU. This is the only one I could find here in Turkey, would it be possible to edit the button base for this? I am using MCDU_Button_Base_A. Many thanks in advance.

I can, but keep in mind that the dimensions do not match the dimensions of the original model. The width is quite fine, but the screen length is 14 millimeters smaller. This will cause the buttons on the sides to not match the lines on the screen. If that's okay with you, I can create an MCDU for this screen. Waiting for the green light from you.

Yeah, ideally I would like them to match but considering I can't find the screen for a reasonable price, the mismatch is something I'll have to be okay with, I would really appreciate if you can edit the model for it, thanks very much again for all these request. Have great day.

Hi, sorry for the late reply, quite busy lately.
Please find in the link the requested modification: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/mcdu-5-inch-lcd-version-5bbda37e4bfb67bce3c5
This link is secret and will be disabled in few days.

Cheers,
Ran.

Hi, thanks for the model, unfortunately the link is not valid.

Sorry, it was the wrong link. Try this one.

No worries, thank you again. Have great day.

Hello again, could you share the link for the korry button model you used in the EFIS and FCU, Thanks.

No, in the new A320_A330_EFIS zip there is a folder called EFIS_Korry_Buttons, what I wanted was if you can share the korry button you used to model the efis button base

thanks

Hi boss, hope you’re doing well. I wanted to ask if it would be possible for you to sell me the MCDU pcb gerber files, the reason I am asking is as I live in Turkey any order above 30$ gets taxed up-to 3 times the price of the item because of that I can’t order your pub from ebay. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm doing well, and I hope you are too.
Sorry for the late reply, I was in a very long business trip with limited availability.
Regarding your request for the MCDU PCB Gerber files, I don't sell or distribute the design files for my PCB products. These designs represent a significant investment of time and effort in research, development, and testing.
I understand the import tax situation in Turkey and that it makes purchasing items from overseas more expensive. However, even if I were to provide the Gerber files it would still require you to source all the electronic components, many of which are surface mount devices (SMD). These components are very small and require specialized equipment and skills for soldering. It's a delicate process and even experienced electronics hobbyists can find it challenging.
Therefore, providing the Gerber files wouldn't necessarily solve the cost issue and could lead to further complications and frustration in the assembly process.
I appreciate your understanding.

Cheers,
Ran.

Hi, i’m doing good too, i have been trying to make my own, my plan was to use your design as a starting point rather than use it as is. Anyways thanks for answering. Have a good one.

Hi Ran, I hope you're doing well. I wanted to ask if you could share the DXF files for pedestal and FCU/EFIS button bases if you have them. I tried to open the ones in EFIS folder in KiCad, I couldn't get them the be imported cleanly (a lot of intersecting lines etc.). Thanks in advance.

Hello again, I just wanted to add that if you don't already have them, you don't need to create exports for them. I found that I can make the button bases compatible with KiCad by deleting all but the bottom layer in blender.

Hi, If I understand what you wrote correctly, it seems like you got it sorted out. If so, then I'm very happy to see that. If I didn't understand correctly or if you still need anything from me, please write to me and I'll try to help as soon as possible, as always.

Hi, thanks for the response, yes you understood it correctly. I have an unrelated question, do you plan to create a "compact" overhead for A320? something similar to SL3 simulations overhead.

That might happen. I thought about it and now that you’re mentioning that it is even more possible that I will make it :)

Hi, would it be possible to make the ACP and RMP (the one named "RMP_Con_Button_Base_KAV") compatible with Mantoga's korry buttons?

Unfortunately, there is not enough room on this panel for Korry Buttons, especially since the Korry Buttons I design my panels for are not mine but Mantoga's and he don't have Korry Buttons the size of the buttons on this panel since the RMP buttons are smaller.
Even if I try to adjust the Korry Buttons to the size of the buttons on the RMP panel, they still won't fit, both because they will overlap and because of the tabs connecting to the ACP panel.

Hi, sorry for the late reply, I’m quite busy on recent days. I’ll look into this this weekend and let you know. Thanks for your understanding.

Hi again. I've looked into it and realized that you found the exact product that I already designed the button base for. All you have to do with it is to unsolder the 7 segment display itself from its PCB, put amd glue them in their dedicated slots in the button base as described in the assembly manual (the 7 segments and the PCBs), then solder them again to each other with wires and that is it.
