UFO abduction table lamp

This is a model of a UFO with little Martians abducting some cow in a grassy field (with real movement - check the animated gif!). It also serves as a lamp, but you need to add some led lights to get the full lighting effect. The model also needs a transparent cone, so I made mine using acetate sheets that I pasted together. This was made using blender 3.6.2. Currently it comes in 10 pieces that can be glued easily, just mind some delicate parts such as the aliens as they have very thin arms. The current size for the UFO disk is 20 cm wide (8 inches approx.) I dont recommend scaling it larger because of the led slot size, which has been made specially for neon led strips (1.2cm by 0.5cm).

Object Size: 20 cm (8 inches) wide.

Recommended FDM settings:

Perimeters: 2 or 3
Infill: 5 to 10%
Layer height: 0,2 mm (or as low as you can get without it being too much time)
Some supports required for most pieces.

For building:

• Acetate sheets cut in the shape of a cone (132mm top perimeter, 293mm low perimeter, maybe a little more to snug it comfortably around the base and the ship)
• Some fishing line string (nylon, 0,25mm) to put in the base, through the cow and onto the starship.
• LED neon lights (1.2cm by 0.5cm) that can be cut and soldered together. You can mix colors for the ship and the mid lights; I used blue and warm yellow.
• Some power source (12v), i used an AC adapter that has 12V/3A.
• A light switch.
• And finally, some patience. This is my first wired model, so I made a lot of mistakes during construction (both in design and in the final steps, but the results do make up for everything)
