Airsoft Magazine Base Plate

Magazine Base Plate for M4 (Specna Arms / Delta Armory)

This magazine base plate was designed specifically for M4/AR15 replica magazines, fully compatible with Specna Arms and Delta Armory models (tested fit).
It will likely fit other magazines of similar construction, but confirmed compatibility is limited to these two brands.

Design and Assembly

The model consists of two parts:

Upper and lower sections joined together with strong adhesive or an M2.5 screw.

A threaded insert M2.5 D4 can be heat-set in the lower section (using a lighter or soldering iron).

The whole piece is mounted to the magazine using the original bottom screw.

In most cases, glue alone is enough - the screw simply provides extra reinforcement during intense use, such as quick reloads.

🪶 Aesthetics and Finish

You can print it with PLA, PLA+, or PETG filament.
The base model is smooth (without surface texture), but you can easily add a custom finish using Orca Slicer.
Simply enable the “Fuzzy Skin” feature and adjust the parameters to create a surface resembling camouflage or rough texture, as shown in the photos.

The base version is smooth, allowing you to customize the texture, color, or overall finish to your own preferences.

More variants of this base plate (different shapes, styles, and detailing) will be released in the future - tailored for airsoft enthusiasts who value both function and aesthetics.

If the project gains attention, I’ll consider releasing the Fusion 360 file so everyone can freely modify the model.
