hi there i have 100% made this design from scratch with ease of use in mind the parts are all 3d printed in pla but this could be changed it uses a standard 360 deg servo to power it and i printed it on a 220x220x250 print bed

i printed the door slats in the vertical position to avoid using supports but this can be changed but the important thing is the slats have to be clean so they move freely the door rails are made in 4 parts two are top rails (with cut out to allow movement in shutter when moving two are bottom rails the all have screw tabs on them they point towards the front to be able to screw in to a wooden building causing the rails to hang on the inside of the building below the reel holder. once shutter is in the rails i used strong double sided tape to hold the top slat to the roller then added the motor and end mount making sure these are completely level and that it your done. use a servo tester and battery and your away.
if you want the program on a Arduino board pre programmed i can supply this at extra cost £25 plus post just message me and i will supply with instructions on how to wire up and fit. also how to add limit switches on up and down that the control board can read to stop motor jamming or stalling in end positions.
once completed i added some sticky back weights on the very bottom rail to help door from jamming and applied some Tamiya grease in door rails (only a few blobs ) the door will run freely up and down if all is correct
