Yeah every slicer allows you to split the models into smaller pieces but you are like the fourth person who asks me this so in these days I’ll do it and I’ll update everything

usually i'm a designer that slits everything in parts but this helmet... i cannot split it more that this,it would compromise the general shape...sorry

I can split into pieces but for the sizing bro you’ll have to do it on your own

I’m trying to cutout some times to design the one of lyonel and the one of aerion or the one of Baelor…it’s hard so I have to be calm and without any other project for at least 2/3 days😂

Sorry but the naming is automatically done while exporting the pieces from bambustudio,the only suggestion about the Tamsy staff that I can give you is that the tube part isn’t really necessary to be printed but to be substituted by a pvc tube,more sturdy Thant a 3d printed tube

Hi unfortunately rn I’m afk but the entire helmet it’s divided in pieces as you can seen in the animation video,once downloaded you’ll find all the pieces that compose the upper part and all the pieces that compose the gasmask part .once everything is printed you can choose to wear the gasmask only or the entire helmet.enjoy

What do you mean fixed? Resized? And no I haven’t one printed but I can contact someone who has why?

I want to ensure the claws fit smaller hands. We have never had something 3D printed so we wanted to see the end result if possible, or if you know, or can point us to someone who can print the claws that would be awesome.

It’s designed to be able to rotate cause on the top of the staff which pass trough the the spool there is a cap for the stick

Yeah but I don’t have that printer and neither your slicer, I cannot tell you how much would it take…I can only tell you that with a 0.2 mm nozzle wil take at least double the time that would take with a 0.4

Why would you scale up the whole mask? Scale only the width…what slicer are you using?

orca. scaling only the width makes the round details on the bottom of the mask visibly misshapen.

Yeah but if you scale the helmet to the general dimension of you head and then resize the width only at this point it should be good.

Hi, the model is designed with separated components you only have to divide it in case you are in bambustudio it should recognize the different pieces

so do i download bambustudio?

i am using elegoo cura. i own a neptune 4 pro they reccomended me to download it directly from the elegoo file so ive been using it for the past year

I’m uploading it, trust me download something else to manipulate this project cause I’ll have to scale it correctly to wear them and with a slicer that doesn’t allow you to split a model it will be a nightmare

Ehm…no I ain’t got any idea where to put textures on this helmet…

You can swap the heads one hasn’t got any holes for the chain attachment and the other does have holes for the chain attachment

Also is the stick part for the baton one piece? Or can it be printed into two parts bcs idk if my printer can fit it. Also what are the dimensions? Thank you.

Haven’t got any physical example but every piece is designed to have a slot where another piece has to be positioned, for example the little wings on the side have a slot on big jaw piece where them have to be positioned and every piece like that the eye socket too

Do the majority of the pieces fit to the STL_1 or is there another piece that would be considered the connector?

As you can see in the animation where the helmet is assembling, the nearby pieces snap together: the large jaw with the blue part of the helmet, the eye cylinders with both the jaw and the blue part of the helmet, the side fins with the jaw, the rear joints fitting between the back of the jaw and the side wings, and so on. Once you have printed all the pieces, they will fit together perfectly, and the upper part will also assemble seamlessly with the lower part of the mask (the gas mask).

You can then freely choose; the file already includes a completely separate staff, but if you don’t want to use it, you can add your own staff, like a broom handle, since all the pieces fit together perfectly.

Hi sorry for the late reply, have you Troyes to reslice it, maybe it’s only a corrupted slice. I’ve sliced it with Bambù studio. The model looks ok to me…

I have and it still hasn't fixed itself unfortunately. It prints but gives me an empty layer warning and spaghettis there. I also use Bambu Studio
