What scale can I print in? 28mm 54mm 1:35 1:32?
Hello! I bought Apollo, Starbuck and Athena. I'm getting ready to print and I'm seeing I'm missing some files. Starbuck is missing both of his boots... but I can use the files from Apollo. Someone who buys just Starbuck won't have those files. Also, Athena is missing Upper arm left.stl. There is a file with that name, but it is a copy of the lower arm. I'll need the upper left arm to finish printing this file. Thank you for your help! Hoping to buy Boomer soon and the Battlestar Galactica figures that follow.
Holy sheep dip!! How did that happen? My apologies. I will correct it asap. Just curious, are you printing with a flexible resin?
I have refunded Athena and Starbuck as a thankyou for letting me know.
Oh Wow! That was super nice of you. Thank you! I'll get these downloaded and start printing soon. I printed your Kolchak figures, but I enlarged them to be in a 6" scale. I printed them using a combination of PLA+ and TPU with moderate success, and I hope to do the same with these figures. To snap together joints printed in PLA, I first dip them in hot water to soften them, press them together and press them back into place. Not too shabby.
the galctica figures are great! any chance you could make cylons. Lucifer and Baltar?
best regards!
Hello friend
Hope your very well?
If I was allowed to print some of your designs to sell what percentage would you require please?
Many thanks
Hiya! I just printed my very first resin print and I picked your Black Hole Bob. I am so impressed with how it looks. Question though, my download had a body, a claw and a good leg. The model appears to be missing the two diamond shaped items on the extreme left and extreme right of the body. By any chance, do you have those files?
Hi there. I have no idea why I didn’t include them in the file but I made some replacement ones for the Vincent mega toy. It’s a free file in my downloads.
Thank you so much for responding. I found the files and have downloaded them. You've got a lot of great models on your page! I'm sure I will purchase several in the future!!
Hey man, it's been a while since I contacted you. back In 2018 I bought a fiberglass Matt savage concept helmet from you. The kit was great, do you have any plans to do a printable version of that helmet? that is one I would love to print out for myself and have one that is wearable and light. The fiberglass one is just too thick and heavy. Any plans for that in future or did you design one already that I could purchase to print?
Hi , that was while back. I’ll have a look on the hard drive, I can’t remember if I made one. I wasn’t sure about copyright with Matt Savage? And happy new year.
thank you, appreciate you digging into it. Happy New Year to you as well.
Thanks! Sent you an email on Saturday!
Hi tildane! I am a history teacher and I love your work with the Anglo-Zulu war figures! I was wondering if you are planning to make any other types of British soldier figures?
Hi Stefanm, I’m not planning on any other British soldier action figures. This was a labour of love as Zulu is one of my favourite films.
Not a problem, I understand! I love the film as well-it inspired my interest in this conflict! I am wondering if it'spossible to work with you to create a historically-accurate version of a British soldier from Rorke's Drift? You've included an amazing amount of detail and I believe it would require only some small changes; I am in the process of doing research!
Yes of course. I used images from the film but I could update it for accuracy
Great! Do you have a better way to communicate, perhaps email? I can gather everything up and send a list of changes +images!
Hola. Acabo de descargarme tu archivo pero la figura viene sin piernas, con lo cul no me sirve asi. Donde lo voy a poner necesito que está en pie. Existen las piernas y alguna manera de conseguirlas?
Muchasgracias
Oops. I will sort this out right now. Sorry about that
Hi there, love your work, i was wondering is the earthshock cyberman helmet wearable?
Hi Kitzel, yes the helmet is wearable. The measurements come from a helmet I own. The backplate is designed to be taken off to get your head in. You can use Velcro’s, magnets or even screws to secure to the helmet. I would recommend a quick release mechanism in case of emergency. All the best.
hello,
i bought your cyberman helmet but there seems to be pieces missing like the other eye etc, how am i meant to print those
Hi, just mirror the ones from the other side. The model is symmetrical. All the best.
Hi,
thanks for uploading the Ajax Marine.
I purchased and downloaded the stl files and realise there are no parts for the right arm or right leg. Should i just mirror the let ones or are they supposed to be different?
Hi there, my apologies. I will include the other limbs, and yes, they just mirrored.
Hi, I wanted to ask you what you recommend to insert the pieces once printed without breaking them? I printed them in resin and they came out very well but if I try to assemble the pieces that have the joints they are hard and I'm afraid they will break... thanks
Try putting them in boiling water. Some resins become more flexible. Otherwise, file down the nibs so the joint doesn’t have to stretch as far. Final solution, the one I chose, was to buy specialist flexible resin(Resione is great). Good luck.
Hello,
First off, love your work!!! My question is on the Alan Carter figure. How do you attach the upper and lower legs without breaking the upper portion of the leg? Thanks for any assistance!
Hi there. I use boiling water on the top joint to soften it up. Do this before you expose it.I’m assuming you’re using a resin printer. I have also bought flexible resin ( resione M58) which is great for making action figures. I also suggest filing down the pivot balls a bit, so the joint doesn’t have to open as much. I hope one of these suggestions helps. Let me know how you go.
Thanks for all your help!!!
Will do
Hi,
I have a request in connection to your Flash Gordon figures, please could you do the Ming Soldiers which fight against the Hawk men in the Ajax rocket battle.
Thanks.

Hello
Also with the percentage per sale, I'd add yourself as the designer and any link to your Cults3d page?
Many thanks
