Hello, I am excited to try this print. However, I don't understand the instruction "For both versions for the part1 you need to pause the print at the level of the bearing close to the prop @layer 136 (@0.2) to fit it inside and then continue." Won't the nozzle/print head hit the bearing? The video doesn't show actual assembly. Each outdrive requires 6 bearings? I have purchased the gears for 2 units. Having difficulty finding the bearings.
Hello! so the instructions say that during printing you should pause it one layer before the closure above the flange of the bearing, at layer 136 (the @0.2 its the layer height because if someone printed it in 0.3 it would not be at layer 136) so the print head will not hit it (i have printed around 10 versions with the bearings to be sure), but i dont recommend at very high speeds. So the bearings you should get it from the same company as the gears if you could not find them due to stock try to find them in Ali express, if that is not possible also i will revise the design for you so the engine will take bearings from ali express. Yes each requires 6 bearings 4 -4x7x2.5 and 2-4x8x3mm both types flanged. Also here is the link for the assembly video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9pih9hlaVI&t=6s.
